Best tattoo parlor I've ever been to out of cheektowaga and the Buffalo area, nickel City is the place to go if you go anywhere else you are a sucker.
I was in Cheektowaga for business and dropped by to get some work done. Gigs is fantastic and I'm super pleased with the work he had done for me. I started getting tats of the places I'd worked at as I travel 85% of the year, going to several sites. I already had the state of Idaho and St Thomas on my leg. He placed a mailing cancellation stamp of Buffalo (first class) and recolored the eyes on St Thomas for me. I returned to get a large piece on the other calf and I absolutely love how it turned out! "Die with memories, not dreams" seemed so fitting for my travels and I have Gigs to thank for the fantastic art work! I highly recommend this shop and Gigs! Wish I were closer to get more work done now.
Received my first tattoo this past week and cannot wait for the next one! This is the best place to go for your first experience: clean and professional plus friendly! Heidi was amazing and hilarious. She made me feel very comfortable. So happy with the entire experience.
I've been going here for years, & to Heidi specifically for over 6 years (she's very experienced & does great work). The shop is clean, & the atmosphere is chill. Would recommend to anyone.
I'm no longer a tattoo-virgin! Don is talented, experienced and the tattoo is exactly what I wanted. Good convo in the chair made time go by quickly and the mood in the room is cool and fun.
