My expectations were low since places like this are all over Jacksonville but I was still somehow disappointed. First thing, I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender meal and they only gave me 3 pieces :(
Chicken tastes like it was fried in the same oil as the fish. Taste wise food was average at best, chicken was juicy, and lightly breaded, cheap food if you’re hungry, but I won’t recommend.
The food here is good. They are a little slow when you go thru the drive thru. I would tell you to call and order ahead for pick up and just come inside to get your food. They have a good amount of lunch specials that are at a reasonable price. Just to let you know, when you buy anything, try to bring cash. Using your card, they will charge you a fee without even telling you.
My husband and I have visited several times now. Big juicy burgers, delicious crispy chicken sandwich, lunch special of 1 piece fish+5shrimp, fish diners, sides of fried okra, fried mushrooms, and fries. Everything is cooked fresh to order. This does mean wait times can be a little long, but your food is always piping hot. They are also very accommodating with order customization. They are a little heavy-handed with the fry seasoning, but I just order mine without it. We'll keep going back. We're very happy for this new edition to the neighborhood. This was already one of my favorite places but 10:10 and fries for 899 is just like ridiculous right now go get some and thank me later
They’re okay when you’re in a pinch. I had chicken wing and chicken tenders tossed in Cajun Ranch sauce. No one told me how spicy hot it was! I threw it away. Ernie’s shrimp was tasty. He had shrimp and chicken tenders. We sat outside, on the patio. Friendly people. Next time, I’ll get some other sauce and on the side. $35.00 dollars down the drain. Ernie only ate his shrimp.
Fresh and hot. I have only used the drive thru. The pricing is very reasonable and has a good variety of food selection and you are able to add or change the type selection off of the menu. There's always a little bit of wait since food is being cooked fresh. Chicken wings are great!!
I will no longer come here...The food that I have received here has been good I'm not going to lie but the customer service is terrible I'm always pleasant and say please and Thank you but I always get the rudest response...I would rather drive to crab shack on Arlington road where I normally go then to spend another dime at a place that don't appreciate my money. It's closer to my house so it's easier but from now on I will go the distance to get the service me and my money deserves....It's to many crab and chicken places around Jacksonville to deal with this kind of stuff....Treat people the way you want to be treated if you plan on being around for years to come....Thank you...
I’m a regular customer, I go there very very often and the food is divine, some of my favorite food ever, I like paying with cash since it’s slightly cheaper but the food is totally worth my money.
