Tasty Ramen offers a flavorful selection, but recent changes to their menu have limited options. Despite shrimp being listed, the refusal to accommodate a side order was disappointing. The language barrier with what seemed as the owner seemed to impact flexibility. However, the polite and helpful register attendant was a silver lining. With potential improvements in menu flexibility, Tasty Ramen could better cater to customer preferences and enhance overall dining experiences.
So this was my first time trying Tasty Ramen and I wanted to start by saying, this is absolutely delicious and colorfully bursting with flavor. I got the Choy Ramen bowl and mane was it good. It was bigger than I expected for the price and It was overwhelmingly tasty and full of so much flavor. Very filling and satisfying; Even the spring rolls tasted good, not greasy like most other Ramen places I’ve been to and no microwave texture, just a nice crisp golden look and a texture to match just that. I initially saw a lady outside with a bowl and that’s what attracted me to this place randomly walking around the Crate shops.
Update - This place is still just as delicious as the last time we visited. This time we also tried the Gyoza and Chicken Hibachi. Delicious! The noodles and chicken both very flavorful. We visited around 5:30pm and it wasn't busy at all. It was great. I still highly recommend this to anyone wanting great tasting ramen!
Original review Feb 2, 2023 - We tried Tasty Ramen for the first time. Never been to Krate Container Park and finally stopped in. We decided on Tasty Ramen. We ordered Tonkotsu Shoy Ramen & Krab Rangoon combo to go as it was late just before closing. Sorry! The ramen was delicious and perfectly cooked. Very flavorful and it really hit the spot. The Krab Rangoons were full, crunchy and creamy with a good amount of crab. We were very pleased. I could see us returning frequently.
I'm seriously impressed that it is one person running the whole thing, at least when we visited on a Thursday night. That is one guy taking orders, cooking, serving, dish washing. The place was busy! He didn't have a chance to stop for a second until 9 when the doors closed. Crazy but he did great.
You can eat inside as well as outside, he was even bringing the food to the customers outside. The guy was killing it. If he's an employee he deserves a raise and if he's the owner he deserves a vacation haha.
They have a large patio area with plenty of seating to hang out. It was a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Amazing appetizers & literally the best ramen I’ve ever had in the country!
The food was great! The portions were huge, I was able to take home and have it the next day.
Buy beyond the food, the to-go plate and brown paper bag to carry were good quality and can be reused! The gentleman behind the counter was extremely polite and quick!

Food was fresh and very good. As you all know prices have gone up for small restaurants and yes you are going to have to pay ???? I spent almost 24.00 for a ramen, crab Rangoon and a drink.
An interesting take on tonkotsu miso ramen when including red bell peppers and what looked and tasted like Napa cabbages? Decent roasted pork belly portions. Unfortunately the soft boiled egg was over marinated and salty. The wood ear mushrooms were nicely sliced and added further texture to the ramen.
I ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen to go and it was honestly so good, the pork portions where a fantastic size and tender, a good portion of noodles, the vegetables and mushrooms where absolutely amazing the softboiled egg was perfect. Very flavorful and I didn't have to make any additions to the meal, everything was hot when I received it and the broth is salty but I like that and was diluted when mixed with the noodles and everything else, I still had broth leftover when I filled up my bowl!
