Sometimes the service is great and fast, then other times you wait an incredible amount of time for just a shake. I ordered a large banana shake, waited 35 minutes till i asked why it was taking so long and was handed a random medium shake and charged for a large. I left and soon discovered it wasnt even banana. Decided not to go cuss out the kid that messed it up.

Tiny locally owned drive in restaurant. There's some seating inside, but not much. Their burgers are fantastic. The large basket of fries are enormous! They also have lots of options and flavors for ice cream sundaes and such. It's closed during the winter months, so go there while you can!
Very fun experience while camping in Luverne, MN! You can order inside or outside and everything is made to order. Burgers and onion rings were both really good. Wish we got some ice cream though! We will have to try that next time. Everything was also extremely affordable which is nice since everything elsewhere is crazy expensive nowadays.
There is something special, dare I say magical, about these classic drive-in restaurants. The food is pretty basic American fare - burgers, fries, soda, etc..., but the atmosphere is alive with a nostalgic energy that supplements any gap in the menu and then some.
The staff here are also so very polite and friendly, adding to the welcoming experience.
We had the fish sandwich and fries, and enjoyed each a great deal. ????
My first visit there this year was awesome. They are busy on Saturday evening but the long line moves quickly to order. The fresh & tasty food & ice cream treats are surely worth the 10-15 minute wait for your food. We each got bacon cheese burger meals and ate them in our pickup but there were plenty of tables available outside for how busy they were. It was pretty full inside.
The meal was even better than I remembered with its flavorful, crispy, meaty bacon that crumbles in your mouth. The burger is thin, but large and juicy and was perfectly done on a large, fresh bun. I forgot to order extra pickles but there were two big, thick, crunchy pickles with plenty of flavor under the burger. The fries were also perfectly cooked and delicious.
I got a cookie dough blizzard-like treat which had a full glass of blended dough chunks in thick,smooth ice cream and I was impressed that they added so many full-sized of dough chunks on the top that I nearly had one in every bite. I only ate half and froze the rest with the lid on and spoon out.
I was too full to finish the large portion of fries but they were still delìsh the next day reheated in the air fryer. Also, they have awesome tator tots that I forgot about and will order next time.
I highly recommend that you check this place out! It's the same price or less as fast food if you have time & someone to get out of the car to get it.

Love the drive-in atmosphere. Friendly employees. The cheeseburger was average. The onion rings were nice and crispy. I would suggest ice cream here! I had a raspberry malt and it was great! Fresh ingredients, excellent flavor!
