I called & placed my order & he said 10 mins. Lol it was ready when I got there. & HOT! Fish & shrimp platter w/ Mac n Cheese, & Green beans.... & dinner roll & choc cake & a Rc soda to flush it down for $15

That fish tasted like he caught it & fried with perfection of golden brown with a lil Krunch, very tasty as well as the shrimp. Green beans & Mac n Cheese felt like u was at home & mom duke's cooked dinner....overall was ???????????????????????? that fish was hitting. My only recommendation is could use some seasoning on sides. & the Mac & Cheese u gotta do it right or leave it alone. But I will be back tomorrow for the brisket , greens, yams, & Mac & cornbread ????????????

Food was good! Very much like being over at family’s house. Tasteful, quick, and simple . I had the catfish with two sides: spaghetti and coleslaw. It also came with a Pepsi and bread with a little slice of chocolate cake! All for $15. Steve was very hospitable and allowed us to wait in his living room. Definitely will be back!

Yes you are in the right place when you pull up! Call the number and wait 10 minutes of goodness! No photos because I couldn’t wait lol only $15!!! And you get a complete meal!!!

Just a nice little mom and pop style business run out of their home, food was good and came with an RC Cola. Shrimp was delicious and so was the cole slaw and chili mac. Service was great and prompt. Very nice couple.

I haven’t had food this good since leaving the south. Waiting for my food was like being at a family fish fry. The Blues music playing and the aroma coming from the kitchen took me back to my years of growing up in Arkansas.

I plan to order again and again.

My family was looking for a soul food establishement in the area and when googling came across Tasting Soul Food so decided to give it a try. We had catfish, shrimp, sweet potatos and black-eyed peas. The food was delicious and we will definitley be going back. Very good and we highly recommend it!

I called 15 minutes ahead so the fish were ???????? when I arrived to pick it up.

It's a decent mom-and-pop restaurant in the area if you are craving for soul food.

Only open from 1-8PM on Friday.

This is an absolute hidden gem, y'all! The food is PHENOMENAL! And at a very fair price. The owners are really cool, super down to earth folks. Loved everything about my experience here and will definitely be back!
