Food was amazing the first time around. Tried it again today and i’m not sure what happened. the brisket was overwhelmingly fatty, the mac and cheese was burned and the baked beans were watery. Not sure what happened from before but i won’t be back unfortunately. Atleast the extra fat was fed to the dogs.

Tried for the first time last Sunday, so good I had to go back again this Sunday! Brisket and pulled pork are both excellent! The baked beans are incredible! And the banana pudding... Damn good!!! Awesome customer service! Definitely a must check out!
The baked Mac and cheese was really yummy so was the plain coleslaw. You can tell that the food is made with love. I will be back to try the meats. They also have a big selection of faygo pops. I got a orange cream soda called "dreaming" I've never had it and it was really ???? good. The only negative is the decore. It's kinda blah.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. This was my first and last time. I was happy to see a new place and when I entered I was excited to see African American ownership but that quickly dissipated as I saw the food. It taste just like it looks. All the disgusting bake beans was in the bottom of the bag, the chicken is dryer than Arizona in July and the burnt mac and cheese taste like it was made with new focus hope cheese that doesn't melt. I'm not a fan of wasting food but it went directly to the garbage. $14 down the drain. I'm glad I didn't spend $26 for 1 bone of beef rib. The container looks like a back yard barbecue from your Auntie house. The inside needs some sprucing up. I still can't understand why the 2 slices of white bread? The only good thing about this place is the staff were pleasant.
I have never been here before today. I walked in & my order was taken promptly. The guy at the counter was nice. My food was ready in under 10 minutes. It was delicious & hot (temperature)! I'll be back!
Food was tasty, however I got violenty sick after eating.
I ordered some chili and sides, and they I think unfortunately they were spoiled.
Staff was great, id be willing to give this place another shot.
Brisket was SALTY and very FATTY!! Mac n cheese dried out and the smokehouse coleslaw was bitter!!! Epic FAIL!!! Who eats this?? Save your money honey! Black owned so you should know better..
