Island bowl special is a lot of food for 12.99$. Entree, 2 large sides and a can of soda. Easily shared between two people.
The curry chicken has great flavor but a lot of bones from being stewed all together.
Rice & peas (beans) are black beans & rice cooked together, while the mac and cheese tastes like tons of shredded cheddar and buttered noodles. Definitely no box or liquid cheese there.
Id like to try the jerk chicken, plantains, collards, cucumber salad & potato salad next.
Since the Pandemic it is not certain what you will get based on quality, but I really wanted some jerk chicken. I was impressed. I will order again and actually go there to eat.
The food is okay, the portions are horrible for such a high price. $21 for a few pieces of curry goat. Really not worth it. They were out of a lot of things. The service is GREAT. The flavor is good, just a little off from authentic Jamaican Cuisine. THEY NEED TO FIX THE AIR.

Macaroni taste like it was straight out the box.
What I had was definitely not oxtail. Very oily and they gave you three pieces devoured in oil.
The rice and peas hard as ever.
$23 gone to waste. Hope that helps:)
I was charged $30 for the jerk chicken platter. I went with it, hoping that it would be the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had but it was dry, pasty, and overcooked. What else got on my nerves was that the menu price said $15.99 and I was overcharged tremendously. I will never eat here again, and I recommend that you save your money and go to a different establishment.
Came here today because I heard they did all day breakfast. I asked for waffles, eggs, and bacon, and instead I got a sausage and egg on bread. I believe I said my order clearly, but the Woman at the counter revealed that they don't do waffles and pancakes in the afternoon despite both her saying this AFTER I paid for it and the menu saying that breakfast is "SERVED ALL DAY".
So basically I got scammed out of five bucks. The place looked shady anyway and it was extremely tiny while also having a bit of a weird smell. First Time coming here, and it will definitely be the last. There's far better places around here.
Jerk spice was good but the meat for both the jerk and curry were dry. Rice was ok. Had trouble ordering online. Had to call. Called and the person who answered was rude. Rudeness is usually accompanied by amazing tasting food so I’m confused.
