Naan looked and tasted great. The flavor profile on the curries was slightly lacking with white meat chunks as opposed to 'fall-apart' under naan chicken.
Ordered dessert from this restaurant. The Kheer rice pudding was really good but the Rasmalai was not on the same level. Hard to believe they were from the same restaurant. I would recommend the Kheer as I would reorder it myself if I'm in town again.
I recently visited this restaurant for lunch with my family and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant.
From the moment we arrived, the person at the reception was very rude, which set a negative tone for the rest of our visit.
The quality of the food was extremely poor. Despite the variety of Indian dishes in lunch buffet , none of them tasted good.Service throughout our meal was subpar. The staff was inattentive and did not seem interested in ensuring we had a good dining experience.
Although the ambiance of the restaurant was okay, it was not enough to compensate for the overall poor service and food quality.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy good Indian food. It was a disappointing visit, and I hope the management takes steps to improve both their service and food quality.
We dined at Taste of India last night for the first time. When you walk in the door (use the side door) you are greeted by the amazing smell of good food! The staff and service were both very friendly. Its very peaceful inside, nice decor and a hint of Indian muic in the background—not over done, but a nice touch. The menu is big so I'm sure you will find something delicious. Big vegan section too for those so inclined. The portions were ample and the flavors were quite good. The prices were also very good! We shared the Eggplant Pecora appetizer 3 ways, under $5. It came with 2 dipping sauces, a green one that was a bit hot, but sneaky about it, and a savory red sauce. Both were good. The eggplant slices were not greasy and perfectly done. The entrees come family style, a big bowl of basmati rice and main course comes in individual bowls. Nice if you are into sharing. Dont forget the warm naan! My wife ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, mild. It was delicious. My daughter had the Chicken Curry, also mild. Very tasty. I went for the Lamb Tikka Masala. It was about $15. Big chunks of lamb, green bell peppers and tomatoes. I ordered it medium. Medium was hot! I'm not allergic to spice and it was good. The server was always there with cold water! Maybe a little too hot at first so be careful. I got used to it but maybe next time mild. I didnt have any leftovers. I am a retired chef with some experience in preparing Indian cuisine and this is right on the money!! Friendly service, good food, lots of it and reasonable prices. I noticed a steam table that was not in action on a Friday night but I'll bet they have a hot buffet at lunch time which is good for sampling. Check the website or call. Lots of free parking. I'm going back!
What a wonderful experience! From ordering, to the delicious food.
We ordered as takeout and drove 40 minutes to pick it up. It was worth every minute.
The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
We got so much more food than we expected.
Everything we ordered was so much better than we could have imagined!
Delicious food and everything packed perfectly. I can't say enough about this place. You won't be disappointed.
I had a masala tea/chai here and it was good.
But its north indian style restaurant so dont expect hyderabadi style biryanis.
Hello everyone don’t go this Indian restaurant they sale waste food one day we went there the food was very bad uncooked and the restaurant owner is very rode he focused America people but they don’t know what is going on there. they don’t care other athletes there was very bad environment toilets is very smelly there was no toilet paper when I ask he doesn’t listen. This restaurant owner is only working for money no quality food provided. I was having vomiting and diarrhea after I ate that food.
We were served uncooked chicken and told us that this is how they prepare it. No attempt to rectify the situation. I did not push for much but good customer service goes a long way. Try to avoid this restaurant if you're looking for Indian food. The other item was garlic naan which was dry and cracking like a wafer.
The only pro is the seating and vacant seating but I think that's because of the cons.
0.5/5 NOT RECOMMENDED
