Best WLM Reviews

Went to Taste of Greece to grab dinner to go on a week night while looking for a good quick meal and was unfortunately disappointed with the service I received. The cashier did not stop scrolling through social media while taking my order and when I asked for suggestions she gave me a dirty look and told me to look at the menu for choices. It was a weird experience and hopefully this worker does not act like this to everyone.
The food was good, I thought the pita bread wasn’t fresh as the edges were tough but overall it was a good meal.
Id like to give this restaurant another chance next time I’m in town and am hopeful that all experiences aren’t like mine.
It was literally the best food I've ever had. Not just the best Greek food. Best. Food. Ever. Unfortunately, the City of Atlanta is stonewalling then on their liquor license which is stifling their business at night and on weekends, but while they fight for that license, it's a great place for those trying to stay sober!! **Seriously** go eat there! They have something for everyone and they serve breakfast all day!
The food tasted good, it has good middle eastern vibe to it. Had ordered brown lentil soup which was nice and comforting, chicken gyro platter which had good smoky taste to it and was served with a side of green beans and potatoes wedges and hummus with pita bread which was usual and hummus didn’t taste very fresh.
My gyro with onion rings was delicious.
My waitress was super friendly. Walking in, the bar is mirrored in a way that can make it look like there isn't any staff present. Don't get me wrong. It looks cool. And also looks like it isn't open.
This restaurant helped make our 2 day delay in Atlanta tolerable! We loved this Greek food!!
Always delicious! Huge portions. Definitely get the Dolmades or Spanikopita. Biggest, flakiest piece of Baklava I've ever had. Highly recommend either the Greek Chicken entree (1/2 a chicken) or the Taste of Greece Platter.
Honestly, Taste of Greece is so close to being a fantastic place to dine, yet holds itself back from achieving this for reasons I will never know. This is probably the most well-deserved 3-star review I will ever write, but with an asterisk that says "with just a tad bit more effort, this place is 5 stars without question."
The interior is bland, and it did not echo the Greek culture even slightly. The two TVs they had were on wrestling and a Spanish channel. Our server was not rude at all, but also never smiled or interacted with us in any way other than the basic obligations "what drink/what food/here is your food/here is your check".
The food was decent. Half our table ordered from the breakfast menu (which is available all day), half ordered Greek cuisine. We were all satisfied, but not one of the five of us were wowed by our food. I ordered the "Best Gyro in Town," which was good. The fries were absolutely amazing though!
Overall, this restaurant checks the boxes and was decent. I would absolutely love to see this place thrive with a pretty minimal extra effort in decor, personality, and homage to its namesake. Being in such close proximity to the Fox Theater, I can easily see this little restaurant taking off to the moon!
I come from Texas where I could get a chicken gyro and several potato wedges for $10, and it was excellent food every time. I was a bit surprised to pay almost $18 for this veggie gyro and Greek potatoes. They charged me $4 extra for have two little potato spears added to this order, which is just wild. The potatoes were overly salty for my liking, but the gyro was a good veggie option. I can’t recommend the sides, but as a simple gyro, sure.
