We had just split a lukewarm pasty before driving back down to the UP and needed some real food. This was such a pleasure. The boys got jerk chicken and curry chicken. The girls got jerk tofu and curry tofu. Sides were rice and beans, bammy, and mac n cheese. Meals came with plantains and salad. It was so delicious. Highly recommend.
Lovely place, delicious Jamaican food with reasonable prices. My 2nd time eating there and they did not disappoint. First time I dined in and 2nd time I had take out. Will definitely be eating here again.
This place was a wonderful hidden gem in the tourist abundant city of Mackinaw. It is nothing fancy inside, but the food is authentic jerk style and tastes great. The chicken is a bit on the dry side, but the sauce more than makes up for it, and the fish was very good. The portions are big, so you won't leave hungry, and the staff were very busy, but very friendly! If you are looking to try something unique and are in the area, I would suggest giving this place a shot.
Great place. Food out of this world. I am very very picky and the food we ordered was way out of this world. Service was awesome. Prices are also very very good. Will go back when in the area.
We ordered codfish fritters for appetizers. They were excellent and flavorful. We had jerk chicken burger with sweet potato fries and we both loved it.
I know take out doesn’t make for pretty pictures, but this food is amazing! Curry and Jerk Chicken with the most flavorful rice and beans. I can taste the love in the bread pudding. I will be back every time I’m in town.
Food was delicious and good portions. But some are not available like the platters. Service needs help. Staff is too busy for many customers at peak hours
