It was my first time to come here although it's been on my radar for about a month now. I came at around 1 pm, it did not look busy but I'm pretty sure the gentleman manning the kitchen and the counter singlehandedly will disagree. There were about 3 to-go orders while I was there and it sounded like he was also manning the phone. Kudos to him. He was busy cooking but was still gracious.
Many of the signature items were already sold out so I opted for the combo of Chicago Vienna hotdog in a bun loaded with just the perfect amount of toppings that included sliced onions, tomatoes, pickle spears, some little green peppers + well-seasoned crispy french fries + canned soda. What an awesome meal. I will definitely be back and make sure to come early so I can try their ither items.
Let me say though. I wouldn't mind having that humble combo I jast had again añd again. So good.
Was craving chili cheese fries and I'm SO glad I came here for them. they were LOADED. made fresh and hot. thick fries layered with melted cheese and delicious chili. the chili dog was also perfect and hit the spot. the owner was So nice and welcoming. very mom and pop vibes. food made with love. will definitely be coming by again, and again and again.
I went there with my mother, we are from Chicago and this spot is phenomenal. The mild sauce is just like home, the catfish was so well seasoned, but not salty. The chicken wings were huge which I love, the customer service was great. I brought my leftovers to my husband and he says we need to come back, food was amazing. Definitely worth the price and experience.
Stopped by for lunch and it was great! I tried the Original Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich with fries. Both were excellent. I was surprised how tasty the sandwich and fries were. I recommend both and will return.
Ive driven thru here so many times and finally stoppped in today! The cheese burger was so tasty and the chicago dog so juicy with all the crunchy toppings, perfection! The beef puff is my new go to when I want something oooey gooey.????

I am so happy to have found this gem. Like many other reviews, the food here is absolutely legit. The owner does it all and is very friendly. Waiting was not long at all.
I had the combo Italian beef which was amazing and totally brought me back to Chicago. My son loved the cheeseburger, while we shared a basket of fries. I will 100% be back and bringing everyone with me.

This time, I decided to try something other than the cheese steak sandwich. This time I decided to try the Italian beef with peppers sandwich lighting dipped with melted cheese. This sandwich was amazing and very flavorful and juicy.
