This place was fabulous. We ate outdoors and the views and service were incredible. There was no wait at 6pm on a weekday evening. There were only 2 of us but there was a little wait for larger parties. It's moderately priced. We paid $55 for two of us.
PRO-TIP: If key lime pie is your thing, get it!!! It was amazing.
It was great returning back to the Tarpon Turtle. This was one of our more frequented places when we had our lake boats over the years. We obviously came by car this time and sat outside lakeside.
Everything from the ambiance, views, service and food was awesome. Our server was super friendly and accommodating, we had the bowls which were delicious, very well made and presentation was spot on.
We will definitely be coming back as we travel to and from. You don’t need a boat on the lake to visit this place but if you want the experience just launch at the nearby park…you’ll love it.
Well we finally tried the Tarpon Turtle, when we first arrived it was after lunch and figured the wait wouldn't be bad. Well the parking lot was packed and we both said we'll maybe not today, but as fait would have it we got a spot in the last row. Upon entering we asked how long for a party of 3, she replied about 45 minutes, so we put our name on the list, 22 minutes later we were seated. Our server Justin was a very nice and likeable guy and did a fantastic job. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer hot and delicious, I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and I have to say I was very impressed by it, our daughter ordered a grilled cheese and my wife ordered she crab soup and a wedge salad. Everything was as it should be and the fries were delicious with my sandwich. We will definitely be back, and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing!!! And yes they have a very nice kids menu ????
Met some friends from church at one of their favorite restaurants. We met for a late lunch and were seated right away, at a great window view of the water.
Our server Ezekiel brought menus and drinks and we made our choices. We had Bermuda Chicken Bowl, Fish & Chips, Original TT Burger and Coconut Shrimp. I thought about the Hemingway Chicken but I knew that my wife would wish she had ordered the Coconut Shrimp instead of a burger. We also ordered a starter of Buffalo Cauliflower.
Our friends were newlyweds that were moving from Florida to Texas so it was a personal farewell dinner. We talked while waiting a bit then our starter came. Everyone loved the Buffalo Cauliflower. A bit spicy for them and a bit mild for us. First time they had tried it.
Our plates came in good time while we enjoyed the view and conversation. The Fish & Chips were great, as was the Bowl our friends ate. Sure enough I had to share half my excellent Coconut Shrimp with her. She ordered her burger medium but it was way overdone. Her fault - who goes to a seafood place for a burger?
Overall three of the four meals and starter were excellent. Service was great. Ambiance with a water view fantastic.

So very tropical in atmosphere! Live music from a cool dude, amazing food, tasty drinks, outside dining on the water. It was a fun date night with my love!
Accidentally found this place while driving to Tarpon Springs. Very clean, friendly staff, typical seafood and bar food. Loved the 80/90s music. Seating outside on the lake did it for me. If you are looking for a casual on the water place to drink and enjoying a casual lunch or dinner, you must try this place.
I went here as a recommendation from another local. Honestly, prob wouldn't have found it otherwise or without Google. The food was good, not great. Our service was decentl. She was super friendly and helpful but slow. I know she said they have a new menu, so perhaps that's why. The atmosphere is stunning, and the drinks were fantastic. I had a chicken bowl and it ok. The plantains are really good. There's a banana bread drink and it's very good. If you don't like sweet, it's not for you. Otherwise, give it a try. I will Def give it another try during the day.
Stopped by while cycling pinella trail. Relaxed atmosphere. Plenty inside and (shaded) outside seating. We really liked the food. Had the alligator bowl while one was swimming direct next to us... Also fish and chips above standard. Crispy and large portion. Restrooms very clean. Well done Tarpon Turtle
