Best WLM Reviews
Been coming here for years. Super casual, yet charming. Sidewalk Bistro style seating under the trees. Food never disapoints! Best fish and chips I've had in years, you can actually taste the fish, lightly battered. Most places cannot do wedge style chips / fries. The distance in most places so their's are fantastic. Southwest Bowl is like none you've ever had. I could go on and on let me finish up with you have to try the Grove Bulleit. Management is always attentive, walking around making sure everything is taken care of and everybody is happy. Can't have a great meal without a great server. Mike you killed it! By far best server we ever had there. He battled the blazing sun on a day when temp and humidity in the 90's, never left us needing or wanting for anything. Super quick with the food and drinks!
We arrived at 430 pm, long wait line as the place was packed. They have their fish dinners bogo every Tuesday, that explains why they were so busy. Definitely a very cute place with so much seating inside and outside. The 2 male hosts were very friendly, kept us in check of how long we would need to wait. All of the tourists and probably regulars were extremely friendly talking to us and everyone else waiting.
We sat inside as it was rather hot out. Between the table, we all ordered apps and meals.
The fish was humongous, very tasty with light batter. Their calamari was excellent. The chicken and cheese quesadilla was a huge hit! The chicken nachos were really good, very cute as they were served on a skillet. The chicken wings had a tasty bbq sauce. Of course the table ordered a few slices of their salted caramel cheesecake, so good!!!!
Service was excellent! Scotty definitely was on his game the entire time even though it was quite busy. He was at the table any time we needed something or minutes before asking.
We will definitely be back soon!!!
Very cool tavern. We went here not knowing anything, and we enjoyed ourselves. Hubby and I had some beer and wine to unwind from our work day. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl for dinner. As you can see from the pictures, it was tasty. The menu had a nice variety of selections for food and drinks drinks. We definitely recommend it!
Awesome spot.
Laid back atmosphere with lots lf seating.
They are dog friendly and will provide your PUP with a water bowl.
The food was good. One of the order with potato was a bit salty but the seasoning was good.
The huevos ranchero were awesome... good plate presentstion.
Mimosa were Def worth the stop. Overall the spot was Def one to add to the list of must tried in thr area. Price was Def on point.
Recommend and will return.
I recently visited The Tavern and had the pleasure of trying their fry bread chicken sandwich - and let me tell you, it was out of this world! The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fry bread added an amazing texture and flavor to the sandwich. I can honestly say it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
But it wasn't just the food that made my experience at The Tavern so great - it was also the exceptional service from Jessica, our bartender and server. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu and drink options was impressive, and she made great recommendations for us to try.
Overall, I highly recommend The Tavern for their delicious food and excellent service. If you're in the area, be sure to try their fry bread chicken sandwich and ask for Jessica as your server - you won't be disappointed!
The service here is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The menu is good and the food was excellent for its class. I had the Seminole, which is highly recommended.
Great outdoor patio area in a quiet side street in downtown Tarpon Springs.
The place was super clean, and you can tell there is pride taken in the establishment.
I recommend stopping by.
After a long day at Tarpon Springs incove we drove towards the town to eat at TT. Love the locale, well stocked bar and nice food options. Our server was friendly and with her help we decided on zucchini fries (order these - they where delicious and golden crispy with a lemon aioli that rocked), the Gyros taco and the Asian bowl. We clearly explained no onion on our gyros and our server took note.
Our food arrived - gyros seasoning was good but it was full of purple onions, she took it back. 5 minutes later a rewrapped Gyro taco came back - they opened the original one and scraped some of the onions out, added more dressing and rewrapped ????. Well we tried again, still full of onions! Server offered to have them remake, having worked in the restaurant business, sincerely I said no. The fries that came with the Gyros where delicious and those I recommend. On the asian bowl - I should have ordered a flatbread - watered rice with no flavor just a sop of a mess. The fried chicken pieces I pulled out, but the rice, blanched out broccoli and what seemed like La Choy Sweet n Sour sauce were a disaster.
Server apologized for the gyros dropped our tab on the table and left. Like I said years in restaurant business, no manager to be seen to inquire about the mishap, gyros meal was compted.
I loved your tavern but someone needs to work with the people in the back and following instructions. On the Asian bowl - please do something with the messy watery rice, it pays no homage to the "asian" in it title. Long grain rice, seasoning and a rice cooker can say it.
I really liked this place! The area is very nice and festive with a lot of Christmas lights around. They have tables on the sidewalk, so when you sit there it feels like sitting in the middle of Christmas.
The establishment itself is very nice too - not small at all, and they have sitting available inside, outside at the porch, and along the sidewalk.
There are enough waiters to ensure fast service.
They also have a full bar, but I would recommend sticking with whatever drinks are on the menu. I asked for an old fashioned and while they made it for me, it wasn't as good as cocktails from the menu.
The food, however, was very good. It's not a fancy restaurant, so I didn't expect much, but our burgers were pretty good and cooked to our liking.
If you are looking for a good but inexpensive meal in a great atmosphere - this is definitely the place to go.
