First time visiting, we arrived around 6:30 and decided to eat inside since that wait was only about 30 minutes instead of an hour for outside. Our server was great, food took longer probably due to how busy it was. The Firecracker shrimp tacos were delicious with the side of fried onion straws. coconut shrimp appetizer did not look worthy of the $15 price tag. Our little enjoyed her kids chicken tender dinner immensely and the fresh cut bowl of fruit was perfect for her. I wouldn’t mind coming back when season is over to try the Walleye!
Good food and cold drinks both at a reasonable price. It's a nice setting by the river inside or outside. Mike gave us good service as well. The only negative is we asked what the vegetable of the day was, Mike said he'd check because it changes. He came back after trying to speak with the cooks but said neither spoke English and didn't understand, lol. How'd they know what the order was? The food was still good. May need to get an interpreter ????.
This is a favorite spot for my family. The firecracker shrimp tacos are amazing with rice and beans. The atmosphere is electric with friendly staff, live music, and plenty of drinks flowing. I’ve ordered a mimosa flight with four different flavored mimosas. Being on the water in North Port is extra cool and tiki tables just give it a nice vacation vibe. I love all the staff, everyone’s extremely friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 10/10!!
Nice venue tucked on the mayakka. Arrived at 11:30am for lunch on a Tuesday and the outside bench tables were already full. Not a problem as all the outdoor seats have a pleasant water view. Inside seating looked very nice. I enjoyed the ceviche and fish rueban. Highly recommend just be wary of day of week / time of day in terms of wanting to wait for a table or not.
A cute place to stop for food, beer and cocktails. The cocktail was less expensive than the beer, strangely. The little neck clams were delicious. MikeG G was attentive and very low key.
A nice little restaurant on the river. Great ambiance. The food was great. Our server was not very attentive. Although, other servers seemed to be on point. It's a great little spot. I would suggest checking it out.
Every time we visit family, we always hit Tarpon Point at least once. I had the spicy shrimp tacos this time and they were delicious! Portion sizes are great! Our friendly server was Tamara and she was great! I love the atmosphere there, Tiki tables overlooking the Myakka River. We’ll be back again for sure!
Had a great dinner with friends here. I haven't been here since the new owners took over and I was very impressed with all the improvements. The food was delicious, I had a key lime martini, which was ok, the service was wonderful, and our food came out quick and nice and hot. The best improvement, in my opinion, is the overall atmosphere. The inside was updated with a beautiful bar and a lot of tables with a nice view of the river. Outside, there is a nice outside bar and tables overlooking the river. We sat inside since it looked like it was going to rain. I will definitely be back. Great improvements.
