Best WLM Reviews

I ordered pineapple fried rice from this restaurant on Uber eats. There is a roach in my rice!! I initially thought it was a raisin but it is not. It has legs and wings and a body. I am horrified. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
I also want to add that I reported this to the health department and they did not investigate. I also complained to the restaurant and the delivery app and they did not seem concerned. There’s still roaches in there and in the food.
This place is very welcoming! One of the best Basil fried rice I've ever had. Their wings were nicely flavored and amazing! I was pleasantly surprised!!!! The customer service was outstanding.
This is one of best Thai food I ever eaten. I ordered fried rice with chicken, pad cashew, and ginger perfect. All were tasty especially fried rice. The waiters were friendly and the place is clean and quite. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try tasty Thai dishes.
Tara Thai is gone. Very similar restaurant at same location. Now Siam Thai Cuisine with some new items and some absent. Green curry comparable to Tara Thai’s.
UPDATE: here's a pic of the drunken noodles on a plate showing the chicken and shrimp.
This is my go-to place for Thai, even though it's in Hyattsville and I'm in DC. Parking is a bear early evening and gets worse the later it gets on the weekend. I do believe this place is pick-up only even though you see seating inside.
That being said, the Pad Thai is excellent and sweet. Their drunken noodles has a different name on the menu and has both chicken and shrimp in it. I highly recommend this dish if you like both, and there are so many green chilies in it I needed two glasses of water. The fried vegetable rolls are good, too.
I wish my picture could do the drunken noodles justice. You have to eat it to believe it.
Staff was pleasant and attentive.
The food lacked depth of flavor unfortunately. The vegetable soup was indeed a well made stock, however it lacked any seasoning or character. Certainly not enough salt. Lots of vegetable taste, but very flat on flavor. Vegetables were undercooked, obviously just tossed into the warm broth before being served.
Appetizer was horrendously overpriced as was the rest of the meal for what it was.
Perhaps my Filipina girlfriend said it best. If I gave her 12-15 dollars, she could do better shopping at the retail grocery store and preparing a meal at home. Compared to what we were served for $60 including tip.
I suspect the place is in long term financial trouble with menu pricing and below standard quality such as this.
The food, the service, and the atmosphere are wonderful. The drunken noodles and green curry with chicken are my favorites.
This place is now called Siam Thai Cuisine. Despite the few recent negative reviews, we found the food to be delicious. They have a good selection of authentic Thai dishes. The waitress was very attentive. However, serving sizes were small. In particular, the Kao Soi Gai, which was plated beautifully and tasted great, did not have very many noodles in it. I recommend trying this place, but you may need to order an appetizer or extra noodles or rice to avoid leaving hungry.
