Family run taqueria with more of a diner feel inside. Outside seating with lovely garden decor as well Watsonville murals adjacent. Family friendly with kids playing soccer in the parking lot. Large portions. Come check it out!
I'm comparing to other taquerias, not some other type of restaurant. This is not a fine-dining sort of place, but if you want a quick meal in a casual atmosphere, this is a good choice.
This has the feel of home cooking, complete with the attentive hostess/proprietor. She was delightful and offered us a sample of today's special (caldo de albondigas) before we ordered. It was delicious, so we went with that. We also ordered a couple of asada tacos--super tasty and she got my husband's special-order just right.
The place is small and authentic feeling. They also have a comfortable outdoor seating area, which is where we chose to sit.
The service was very fast.

Authentic Mexican food tastes like homemade. We ordered asada tacos with homemade tortillas, and they were delicious!
Great place to eat i highly recommend this whether you want breakfast or lunch, la comida esta bien bueno se Los recomiendo
Delicious food, reasonable prices, great hole in the wall atmosphere. Located in the heart of Watsonville, this is a true gem. I felt like i was eating at my mama's house. Menudo on the weekends for the adventurous souls.
Food was pretty good above average but not like omg I have be back asap, but would come back in the future! Overall food is good but their service could be more speedy and attentive.
Food is great. Customer service is okay but it's a small place so they get to you fast. Visiting from San Diego and definitely glad I stopped by. Also had the opportunity to try their tacos and they were delicious. Definitely will be back when I'm around the area.
