The restaurant is beautiful. Really enjoyed the ambiance and decor. The food was pretty good. The nachos were hot and fresh and the salsa was bomb. Not a lot to choose from on the menu. I got the fish tacos. I assumed it was going to be grilled, but it was fried. (Menu doesn't clarify) It was still delicious. The best fish tacos ever! My husband got the veggie nachos. Our only complaint was that the food did not come out hot and fresh. You could tell it was sitting for a while. We didn't say anything because the restaurant just opened and they were super busy. They are still trying to find their footage. If it was any other restaurant I would have had them remake it because who wants cold food.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. The atmosphere, cleanliness, customer service and great food all under one roof in Villa Rica!
Service is slow. Waited twenty minutes after we sat down before we got our order taken. Ordered the tacos. They were alright, the chicken was bland and the steak was over cooked and tough to chew. The agua frescas were good but high.
Left feeling eh, while the inside decorations/ theme is cool and well done…we did have to wait quite a bit just to be seated and so many tables were open. We do understand staffing can be an issue. So we waited patiently. The hostess looked so stressed and the staff seemed stressed trying to communicate to one another about seating tables. We were there Sunday at 12:30. Once seated our waitress was very nice and pleasant. However 1 meal came out wrong (but I agreed to eat it as is) And other meal came out with inedible steak. We asked if anything could be done about the steak and they did offer to remake but we choose to just eat around it and eat the other meats in the dish. The manager was going to compensate for that meal is what we were told. We waited an extra 20+ minutes on a manager to take off $1.63 for our compensation. We just don’t think we will be rushing back anytime soon.
The decor is very colorful, nicely done. The service was great, our waitress was attentive and we never had to ask for refills. The chips and salsa were so-so. We had tacos, burrito, enchilada, rice and beans. The food was quite bland. The menu was hard to find these regular choices on. Instead, in large bold lettering was info about cow cheeks, cow stomachs and cow tongue which greatly diminished my appetite immediately. Compared to another Villa Rica Mexican restaurant that we have been visiting for almost 20 years this one is definitely lacking. We will not be visiting again.
My first time eating here. We had a party of 12. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was great! The decor is bright, festive, and inviting! We will definitely be going back soon!
My husband and I was very eager to at Taqueria Tapatio's not only because of the larger space they had but there delicious food. I'm not sure when their food quality and service went down but it did. Not only did we go after lunch but I let our waiter and the hostess know it was my husband's birthday. I was told they would sing Happy Birthday to my husband and bring him a small dessert. Needless to say after we ate, we sat there for another 10/15 minutes. No one ever came out and sang Happy Birthday nor did they check on us while we were there. The tables, chairs and booths were the only thing that both my husband and I enjoyed, absolutely beautiful paintings. As of now we will not be back at all.
I got the nachos and they were great. That’s the only thing I have tried so far but their tacos look good. I got the typhoon margarita. The salsa was just OK
