I was doubtful at first but I didn’t want fast food near by and other restaurants @ the area didn’t have good reviews like this one. But let me tell you it’s a must try they did not disappoint at all. I had the Carne asada with chicken & shrimp plate and it was really flavorful and portions were on point! ????????
I have no idea why this place is so small, Without borders aka Sin Frontera is the best taco place in North Louisiana, and I love the sentiment of the Name as well we are one people. I wish more people could access this wonderful food. And That Honduran people didn't have to tell Americans that they were Mexican food because we can't normally tell the difference. This is a lovely restaurant. Very nice staff quick service and authentic ingredients. I recommend trying one of the fruit sodas with your order and researching Sin Frontera and how they picked it for a name. IT could be one of the most powerful stories you've ever heard. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend that you go in smaller groups but go ahead and make it your Taco place!
This is one of those places that you’d probably pass up if it wasn’t for the great reviews on Google. The building is a very unassuming end of a gas station.
It was quite busy when we came in. I grabbed a menu and sat down so I could figure out what to get since this was my first time here. I knew I wanted tacos and decided to go with 2 beef Fajita & 2 pork Pastor. My baby girl got the child’s pollo quesadilla dinner. The food arrived fairly quickly. My daughter loved the rice and beans on her plate. The tacos were good but just shy of being great. Having said that, they are the best tacos I’ve had in the area so far. The beef fajita tacos were the best. The Pastor just being too fatty to enjoy. The Pastor were different than any other Pastor I’ve had, being marinated in a deep red sauce.
They bring out two hot sauces, mild & hot, and to most people they will both be hot. They are packing some heat but have a great flavor.
More than likely, I will be back to try some of the many other varieties of tacos. ????
We stop in Shreveport all the time on road trips. There’s another place in town we love for tacos, but these were half the price and EVEN better. The barbacoa is excellent as is the steak. Beef were ok but didn’t wow like the other 2. My kid who hardly eats ate an entire gigantic steak burrito and a shrimp taco. Husband really liked his Oaxaqueña torta. Rice and beans were solid. Would have liked a more salsa Fresca style salsa, but they didn’t even need it.
We will definitely be back on our next trip through town. Still thinking about that barbacoa 24 hours later. Staff was super nice and attentive too. Don’t sleep on these.
Best taqueria in the local area, their tacos are amazing, and their borritos are to die for. Smaller menu than some places, but what they do have they make very well. Their shredded beef borrito is my favorite, and the prices are very reasonable.
I am so proud of my husband!! He is the chef there.. I'm so happy reading these great reviews ????
I stop at this small little place occasionally to get some barbacoa. Decent price, nice people, tasty - always meets my expectations.
Food is amazing but there was a mouse in the ceiling right above us. Got kinda grossed out. Could definitely be cleaned up more
