Best WLM Reviews
The food is decent quality. The al pastor is good but they go really light on portions and charge as tho they don't. They don't use homemade tortillas which I think would be a massive improvement.
Elote and horchata are very cheap product to make yet are 5$ each, bit too much for what it is.
Beyond that service is great. They are always listening to Mexican music and it smells so good. The food is quick and will get the job done. They don't over pack lettuce or rice, everything is nicely portioned evenly except the meat could get doubled.
I do highly recommend this place actually <3
They are set up in a gas station lot right on the corner so it's pretty easy to spot their trailer. I decided on the asda fries at the last minute and they did not disappoint. The meat was cooked just right, seasoning was done well, and the guacamole was fantastic. I don't have any problem with eating from food trucks and this is no exception. The only drawback is there is no outdoor seating so you will probably be sitting in your car parked next to the gas station's bathrooms to eat.
My favorite taco truck in Humboldt!! Their meat is so delicious I can’t get enough. I especially love the fresh pineapple on the al pastor!! It is a taco truck so I shouldn’t expect too much ambience but there is nothing but the gas station parking lot to wait in. That said the location is very convenient! The staff seems to be family and they are so sweet. Yum yum!!
Muy rica la comida y bebidas. La salsa roja es la que pica mas pero todas saben muy bien. ¡Las tortas son más que perfectas, con el queso único y muy delicioso!
They are open on Sunday!!! Tried out their tacos for the first time this weekend. Alpastor had the most flavor, and the pineapple slice added a bit of sweetness. Asada, carnitas, and chicken were also good, and the red salsa gave them a great kick????. Green salsa was mild but very tasty, nonetheless. Delicious and most definitely authentic Horchata water. Definitely recommend and will come by again to give their burritos, tortas, quesadillas, nachos, and asada fries a try aswell.
Update!
Came by to try their super burrito, quesabirrias w/ consome, and chia drink. They did not disappoint. Chia agua fresca with bits of fresh cucumber and a great lemony flavor, great for this hot summer weather. Quesabirrias and super burrito were packed with flavor and meat. Great customer service aswell.
Just need to add that their Tortas aremore than perfect! The grilled cheese adds a unique cheesy flavor. Worth every penny! My new favorite!
Here visiting from Washington and drove by this gem of a taco truck! What caught my eye was the picture of the Al Pastor. I visit Mexico frequently and I cannot find decent pastor where I live so I thought I'd give this place a try and I wasn't disappointed!! I got the street tacos and what a buy for $3.00 a piece!!
The meat was tasty, tender and the tacos were delicious!!
Definitely recommend.
They took a very long time, and others that ordered after me got their food faster. It was more expensive than I imagined!! Food was good.
Visiting from out of state, mainly came for the Lengua Tacos based off reviews.
They did not have any Lengua available.
Made due and ordered two Pastor Tacos and an order of Carne Asada Fries.
Pastor was pretty basic and seemed to rely on Pineapple Slices more than any seasoning or marinaded flavor.
Carne Asada Fries were a solid B rating but I was not offered any salsa, hot sauce or Guacamole.
Luckily I’m a junky who had a bottle of Valentina and a container of Guac in my ice chest.
Meal was decent for a taco truck but I grew up on better in the Sacramento region.
Ordered a taco combo with beans and rice through door dash and it was the worst food I've ever ordered, that's not an exaggeration. It must have been close to closing and they clearly just scraped the bottom of whatever pots they had, threw it in a styrofoam box, and thought that was acceptable. The beans were more a soupy gruel that tasted disgusting and nothing like beans, the rice was burnt and so dried out you would have thought it was raw, and the tacos were soggy and gross.
