Hungry for Mexican food, we went to the Taqueria Los Primos Food Truck. Ordered Al pastor quesadillas, al pastor burrito, birria tacos with consomé, and chicken tortas. As well as a horchata. The quesadillas were good, however there was too much adobo sauce used which made it very strong in adobo and messy. The burrito has too much sour cream, which overpowered the Al pastor. However, the Al pastor pork is very good. The torta was dry and weird in flavor, unfortunately. But, the birria tacos were quite amazing, and the consomé was good. The food truck is near a gas station, so one can pick up a few snacks from there too. The horchata was pretty delicious and refreshing as well. There are umbrellas for shade, and the employees are nice. Overall, would go here again, but skip the chicken.
Also, with the parking, it is pretty limited and driving here is a little of a hassle if you miss the turn due to the construction nearby and road structure. Walking here also isn't that fun if coming in from UMD due to poor walkable areas and lack of crosswalks.
A nice little food truck near the university of Maryland. I came here for a fencing tournament with my girlfriend and we want to satisfy our yearning for tasty Mexican food. We found this food truck 4 mins away from the university of Maryland. I loved their gorditas, and they have a good variety of tacos and even serve birria as well.
One of the best food trucks in the area. Delicious food, big portions, affordable and a nice vibe. 10/10
Tacos Al Pastor... This is a taco truck with a few benches right in front that you can sit and grub. Parking is tight.
I'm Mexican American from LA, I've had my fair share of tacos, and at the moment I can only vouch for Al Pastor (because that's all I ordered). This spot is top 3 right now for me for Al Pastor in the DMV. Do yourself a favor and order it! A 4 Taco order is more than enough food to touch your soul. Both salsa options are also solid, I preffer the spicier red joint.
Tacos are a solid 2-3 bites each, they each come con copia (2 tortillas).
Will try the burritos and fries next to give you the real Socal style review.
Absolutely love a good taqueria! This truck is everything you’d expect. Great service and even better food. Great selection of proteins. They serve Coca Cola products and homemade drinks. Ample parking since it’s located near the gas station lot. Bright beautiful food with flavor to match!

I've ordered steak and chicken tacos here before. They were excellent. Yesterday I ordered a steak quesadilla and it was delicious. But I also ordered a side of rice and beans. I've never been served worse rice in my life. It was hard and stale. And the refried beans were very thin and soupy. Very little flavor in the beans or the rice. Breaks my heart that they would serve this to a person.
It really just doesn’t get better than this. It’s a strange truth that the best DC/Baltimore area tacos can be rated based on their proximity to a gas station, evidenced by Taco Bar in Gaithersburg and La espiga de oro on Rte 1 in Elkridge. I ordered a mix of carne asada, pollo, and al pastor. I thought I ordered three but I guess I got four. The best tasting one I couldn’t even identify so now I’ll have to keep coming back and ordering things to see if I can get the mystery taco. They cook to order, give you radish and cucumber and two sauces, overflowing on a double wrapped corn tortilla. In the lot of perhaps the cheapest gas in 20 miles so double bonus!
