We visited on Sunday morning with two kids!
We always get the carne en su jugo which was delicious! The only thing that caught me by surprise was the $10.50 charge for 3 - 8oz styrofoam cups of water.
I didn’t think I’d be charged at all quite frankly - we never specified that we wanted them to go
We asked for plain water for our meals.
The food is good and done well, just be weary of ordering water! You will be charged almost as much as an agua fresca. Yikes.
As a Mexican native, this is one of my favorite tacos in Chicago. I ordered steak, lengua, and pastor, and the three of them were outstanding—fresh and great taste. The place looks immaculate clean and has good service. They also have burritos, tortas and soups. Fred carrot and orange juices. Prices are very modest $ 3.75 per taco, $8.75 for burritos and tortas, and $15 for soups. Carne en-us jugo to go one gallon $52
Nice service, good food
Been here multiple times never had a problem always friendly always correct order and always a nice portion of food definitely a good spot to go recommend the torta dinner.
If you haven't had caldo en su jugo you have to try it. My family loves it meaning Meat in its juice. It is a soup of small pieces of steak, beans and bacon. They give you condiments to add to it like onion, cilantro, avocado, radishes, and if you like your food spicy peppers, and hot sauce. You can eat in or carry out. It is a little pricey and they only take cash no credit cards just so you know. I would recommend it if you like meat.
Food was decent. I went in the morning and had the carne en su jugo. It was delicious.
I'm not commin back at all I order carne en su jugo and I ask to get bread instead tortillas and guess what ,they charge me extra 3dlr for it whid out ask for it they are a thieves. Customer needs to know for any changes. You better watch what you pay..you money is worth it every where..
This place it's super cheap, but that doesn't make it less delicious . If you're in the mood for tasty tacos or quesadilla this is the place for you! This is one of the few places where I found tongue tacos. My favorite!The service is fast, everybody there is super friendly and the place is very clean.
