Really good, authentic Mexican food at this small storefront restaurant. Definitely a local’s place that seems to cater to the local Latino population. I had 3 Tacos al pastor (pork), and they were so good that I went back and ordered a fourth carne asada taco. A small condiment bar had guacamole sauce, salsa, fresh chopped cilantro and onions, and more. Neither of the two hard-working ladies behind the counter spoke English, but between their adept use at using Google Translate on their phone and my 20-word Spanish vocabulary we got it done! Menu is in both Spanish and English, but does not have prices listed, and due to the language barrier I wasn’t really able to ask for prices. My price for four tacos and a bottle of Jarritos pineapple soda was $15 for reference. Definitely recommend this place!
the real deal, food is authentic as is the atmosphere and decor etc. if you did not look out the window you would think you are in Mexico.
The food was so good that I had to place five stars. You place your order and the food is cooked fresh. If I could hire a personal chef, these ladies would be cooking at my house every day!
In town for a wedding and looking for a local spot for dinner. The tacos were amazing! There's a small seating area with booths for dining in (ideal for 2-4 people). A delicious spicy sauce/salsa was served with the warm corn tortilla tacos. We tried the steak, pork, and beef tongue tacos; all were delicious! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an authentic local spot for a quick meal. Easy free street parking nearby as well. Note: it is cash only.
The chicken tacos were extremely juicy and flavorful. The pico and guacamole was out of this world l, not to mention literally everything was made as I waited and it didn't even take 15 minutes I ordered 8 tacos. I do not mind taking the 2 hour drive to visit this restaurant again.
We tried a few different tacos and shared a torta. The food was amazing and reminded me of the food we've been missing. This feels smells and tastes like the love you only get from a family recipe.
A total hole in the wall and can't get enough. Whether I eat in or take out it's always a great experience. The staff are friendly the place is very clean and the food is DELICIOUS! Words cannot encapsulate how amazing the food is.
Be warned, if you're idea of Mexican food is chipotle you will not enjoy. This is not for people who like their food bland and overcooked.
This is a vital local business and my father and I will continue to support this restaurant with takeout during these quarantine times.
Food was amazing, we almost didn't eat here, it looked like a real divey place but what the hec. So glad we did. Great service, food was tasty and plenty of it, home made tortillas and lots of them, definitely not stingy. We sat and talked most of the afternoon and they didn't rush us off. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was nothing to dry my hands on in the restroom.
