Whenever I'm in the mood for some fresh hot carne asada or some street tacos, this is the place to go in North Laurel / Jessup.
My favorite is the carne asada platter ($12, pic) which comes with rice, beans & pico. I have them hold the beans and I get double pico delicious with the steak and the rice.
I've also had their chicken tacos which were great and they have a lot more to offer but it's hard to pass up the carne asada when I go there.
The only tricky thing with this place is it's on Rt 1 southbound, getting in and out you better be quick. And parking is tight, don't be afraid to back up all the way to the edge of the hill but stay on an angle so you can get out.
Also, picnic tables that are covered are perfect for good weather days.
Fresh grilled meats, tender cuts with good searing on them. Great prices for what you get.
Wouldn't have found this gem without Google maps, kind of hidden entrance on busy road. The food was incredible. I tried the Carne Asada tacos, and they did not disappoint, very authentic food being served here. Inhaled a taco before I thought to pause and take a picture.
Was looking for a good food place in the area, decided to give them a try and boy was i surprised this food was amazing and the service was great! Very very good come here very welcoming!
best carne asada you going to find in pg/mc. hands down. and for under $15 a platter you’re not going to find better. the tacos are fire, and come hungry. 10/10
This is the best Mexican food in the DMV to me. I use to work in this area. But now I have a new job I have to make a special. Everytime it's worth it. The way the food is seasoned it makes me feel like I am in SoCal.
The food was so good we had it 2days in a row. Will definitely be back. Everything about this place is great. Good customer service
This place was very authentic and sooooo good!!!! When I want authentic Hispanic food I will come here and recommend everyone else to do so!
