If you are a fan of authentic Mexican food, this is the place! I’ve tried so many Mexican restaurants here in Miami and none of them defeats this one. I went to CDMX in February and the taste of the food of this taqueria is the same!!! The food, the price, the service, everything is worth it! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant ????
The owner is so simple and humble. She cooks delicious as well.
I ordered chilaquiles, nachos, taco a pastor and steak tacos so good.
The place itself is very simple.
I didn’t find the prices too cheap similar as to how tacos are everywhere and understand rent has gone up high.
The flavor of the chicken and cheese so good.
The chips and salsa they give complimentary have a great taste.
Amazing place! One of the most authentically Mexican I’ve come across in my 6 years living in Miami. Stellar customer service too! We were greeted with a huge smile and welcome right upon entering and upon leaving. 10/10 recommend.
After many attempts to create a review, I have finally been able to stop total taco annihilation before taking a worthy shot. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I was never a huge taco fan until now. I have tried various flavors and every single one is absolutely flavorful and delicious! The spicy sauce definitely does not disappoint as it is equally tasty as it is Caliente.
Have you tried lengua tacos? If you have not, order it and thank me later ????
Need to cool your palette from that fuego? Top it off with a little guacamole because it's GUAC!
If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Miami, this is the place!
I used to live in Los Angeles where I was surrounded with authentic Mexican restaurants. However, that is not the case here in Miami. The first time I tasted this food, I knew it was the real deal. This small, casual, family owned restaurant has great service and delivers so many tasty dishes. Everything is made to order. My favorites are the taco birrias, burritos, gorditas and burritos. Literally you can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu. I even love the chips and salsa.
Lastly, don't leave without trying one of their horchata, passion fruit, or tamarind drinks.
It's very hard to find authentic Mexican Food in Florida. Being from Chicago and having really amazing authentic Mexican Food, this place it's worthy of a recurring place to eat. From the beginning as I entered the door the owner approached me and welcomed me with a handshake. The restaurant is very colorful and it's decor brought me memories from Mexico. Now the best for last, I ordered 3 Tacos of Carne Asada, Barbacoa and Al Pastor! Uff my mouth just had a party with the flavors. Simply delish, outstanding, flavorful. I also ordered the 2 Gorditas of Carne Asada. Words can't describe how good the food is. I highly recommend this Restaurant to everyone!! Oh get the fresh squeeze lemonade.
my friends and i got takeout before they closed. it was the best tacos i’ve ever had. could tell it was made with so much love, will definitely be coming back as a regular customer!!!
TLDR: Great birria tacos but the pricing is deceptive and therefore it’s very likely I will not be returning.
FOOD REVIEW:
Birria Tacos
Me: 5/5 stars. These are really good. The consume is tasty and hearty. The tacos had ample meat and a good amount of cilantro and onion. The sauces provided were good as well.
Friend: 5/5 I found it really flavorful and way better than any we’ve had so far.
Asada Tacos(my friend had these)
5/5 stars, moist good cuts of meat.
Chicken Tacos:
2/5 stars, I found them really bland and dry. Compared to the flavor that they put into the birria tacos it’s a shame they didn’t put similar effort into the chicken tacos. I will say however, that most taco places I’ve been to have bland, bone dry chicken tacos as well.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW:
The employees were nice and I have no real complaints. I will say that they misunderstood me when I asked for a to go box and got a soup instead… they refunded the charge so I’m alright with this.
PRICING:
Honestly this is the sole reason why this wasn’t a five star review and why I probably won’t be coming back. The listed price for the birria tacos are $10 per order(3), the chicken was like $9 and the sodas I got were $3 each(2) with a queso who’s price I forget but could not be more than $5. Added together this would roughly be $50 plus tax so about $53-54. I went to pay and my bill was like $75. I paid and when I looked over my receipt there is a fees section that includes an 18% charge for what I assume is using my card instead of cash and another fee. If the listed price reflected this I would have no problem, what I do have a problem with is a surprise surcharge for tacos… I mean come on lol. Ultimately it’s within a business’s rights to add silly fees but it’s also my right to take my money elsewhere.
