I stopped by for lunch. It's definitely out of my normal area. The food was good, nothing special, nothing bad either. The lady that helped me was very nice. I ordered the burrito supreme burrito which is really enough for two. You can see my pictures, that is half of it. My eyes were bigger than my stomach today. I guess we are so spoiled with Mexican food here in the valley that it really takes something different to stand out. Again, nothing was wrong it was good food. I would be willing to go back.
The restaurant is beautiful. The food is delicious. I love the ceviche de pescado and the salsa verde. It has a lot space... it has lots of live plants... The employees are friendly.
Food is okay. You can get better at Mariscos el 30 in Visalia. Not what it use to be. They charge for chips and salsa, 25 cents for an extra salsa for your tacos, crackers etc.
Update: 11/22/17 this place has turned into the worst place i have eaten at in the last year. The carne asada was reheated what tastes like multiple times in a microwave. The ceviche qas aparantly soaked in heavy salt to keep the rotting process at bay. Pretty decent little restaurant for the normal Mexican staples. but trust me when I say to try the "Papas Locas" Carne asada topped fries. omg so lo good

My coworker and I were looking for a place to have lunch. We walked into El Tapatio and loved the atmosphere and decor. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Our food was served very timely. Agua Fresca is made fresh! Chef kiss for this little spot. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant. I will definitely be back and bringing friends and family. Well done, 5 stars.
I awalys go there and the service was great I will go back
I normally only come to this restaurant for their breakfast burritos. They aren’t anything too special but it’s a good burrito for the price. However, today I got a little surprise in my food. It seemed to be a piece of metal, like a stapler inside my burrito. I was disgusted and went back inside to ask for a refund. They were kind enough to return my money but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place again. Aside from being gross, it was also extremely dangerous.
