The quesabirrias were very tasty comes with four street taco size. Outdoor seating was available and good service. Great spot near truck stop.
Food was good; low rating because I seen one of the cooks come out of the gas station that is right next to them with some items he just purchased and did not put any gloves on or washed his hands when preparing my food. And yes ; he was grabbing everything with his bare hands???? this was during Covid scare too. Never been back since.
This is a great place. The food I got was freaking delicious. They were out of some of the things I wanted to try, but I imagine they sell a lot, so I won't ding them for that. I'm an out of town trucker. I just decided to take a walk to them.????????????????
Taqueria is my go-to on the Tuesday drive home. Kansas City has a long list of great Mexican restaurants but there is something special about stopping at a Taco stand and getting fresh tacos (and burritos, tortas, and tamales). The food arrives hot and fresh and the people working at the stand are always nice. It is a popular place for people to stop around mealtime so make sure you have time to wait if needed. One time I went there and a whole fire truck (seriously like 8 firefighters) got there right before I did so that took a while to get my food. But it's always worth the wait. Definitely support this local business. You will be glad you did. Of all the food I've eaten there, the asada tacos are my favorite.
Food is always so good. They always give you plenty of sauces. I've had quesabirrias, street tacos and tamales. All were excellent!
Best authentic Mexican food truck I've come across in kansas.
I was in town and looking for a quick Mexican meal and purchased a Cabeza Torta and it was amazing. The meat and all ingredients were great and it came with grilled onions and a jalapeño on the plate with two small containers of salsa. The avocados and vegetables were fresh. It’s a good thing I don’t live in Gardner as I would want to eat here all the time, haha.
