My fiance wanted me to try this place one Saturday afternoon, I did, and I loved it! We have been going there ever since and come here to eat every Saturday. They have a wide variety of toppings for whatever plate you get. The green sauces are my favorite. And they have cucumbers peeled and ready to eat with Lime and Salt! My Favorite! OOH and They're street tacos are so delicious. I would highly recommend the tostadas.
In my opinion, El Cazador is the best Mexican food in HSV. There are over 50 menu items to choose from. VERY AUTHENTIC. For the common American favorites, best tacos, burritos, and quesadillas around. But be adventurous and try some lesser know Mexican dishes--haven't had a bad one yet! Mojara Frita (pan fried whole Tilapia is amazing)! They have a pico de gallon bar with a great variety of salsas--mild to hot. Also chips and pint beans. As for 'atmosphere'', this is a working man's hang out with a big crowd of blue collar workers during meal hours. They di a great job serving fast, but during peak hour the tables can get a bit messy. Overall, the keep it clean outside of the rush. Try El Cazador. You wont be disappointed.
Between the angry stares and refusal of acknowledgement from the workers, the faint smell of urine and other unclean odors throughout the restaurant, the dirty tables, the unsanitary, uncleaned salsa bar and the overpriced tacos, we were beyond disappointed in this place. The fish seemed fresh enough was about the only positive. Best tacos in Huntsville my left foot. Not sure why so many 5 star reviews.
Love eating here. The salsa and sauces are amazingly authentic. If you want real Mexican food go here. Don’t expect too much on the inside though as it’s a hole in the wall but the food always makes up for it.
Topnotch, affordable lunch food! I usually get 3 tacos Pastor, just the right spice, and under $10. Been branching out lately to tamale plate, and birria tacos
Finally a place in Alabama that can stand its ground with tacos from other states. First place I’ve been to that uses corn tortillas, onion and cilantro. Entire state is basically Tex mex . This is the closest thing you’ll get to an authentic experience. If you see a place that says “cheese dip” on the menu, steer clear, they’re doing it wrong. This place is the real deal

The staff and team are so quick to respond and very helpful.
At pickup the men up front wouldn’t let me try and carry the big containers to my car because they were so ridiculously heavy, and insisted they helped me while I wrangled my two boys, and our lunch order. Absolutely a hsv staple.
Outstanding authentic Mexican food in Huntsville. Best we have found locally. Each dish has been very flavorful and a generous portion.
