They clearly lost their touch. The horchata needed more sugar. The menudo came out with no seasoning, the pigs foot was undercooked. Still needed about an hour in the pot. The stander that was once held by this Mexican restaurant has been forgotten and its a shame. The only good thing about my breakfast was the handmade tortillas.
U get a small concha with your cofee. I had the Burrito de Asada for Lunch. The meat was way overcooked to the point it disnt taste like carne asada. It was more like carnitas. I also had a taco de tripa, that was cooked really well amd crispy. That is highly recommended. This was my go to spot in the late 90's. I am glad it is still Open. If i am invited, i would definitely try something else and update my review.

Homemade corn tortillas forgot to ask for flour
Service was terrible. Had to wait long time to even get an order in. Service brings me totally wrong order cause she can hear correctly. Had to eat it, since I didn't want to wait another half an hour to get my order. Food was greasy. They lost their touch. Lost a customer for life.
The best Gorditas in Chicago! Highly recommend al pastor, incredibly delicious!
PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! So I went in to have dinner recently only to find half of what looked to be a dead cockroach! God only knows where the other half ended up????????. I took the plate directly to the server and she then called over the manager and all he said is "well I won't charge you".. yea thanks! I will never eat there again please take your business elsewhere plenty other better food places nearby.
Honestly wanted to try a new place but I personally didn’t like it the gorditas were kinda hard didn’t taste fresh how they stated in the menu and the pins colada sucked. The only good thing here was the michelada. Also our waiter didn’t do a good job as well she was by the bar just talking and we needed a couple thing we had to ask her other coworkers like 2 times
Food is great with the exception of people cleaning floors in front of customers and the smell of fabuloso make discomfort and not appreciate your meal.
