Ceviche was good but needs more shrimp. The wings are awesome but wings I have had outside of a wing type restaurant. I had the extra hot and would go to highest level hot. I had it as a side and both very flavorful and good amount of heat. The burger was OK as the cheese sauce for the pretzel was OK also. The wings were the highlight.
Taps is great! Great food! Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating! They have a bar; with TVs to watch sports! Friendly staff. Definitely worth going to! Have a great day!❤️????⚓️????????️
Wow man, the loaded fries. Those were legit. Try those first. But then dig into the rest of the menu. There's several hidden gems in there. I'll be back. Try and stop me.
I’ve been to Taps a few times in the past year. We started going here because they have a vegetarian patty option. I like the pretzel. This time I got their beet salad and it was beautiful and tasty. One time I went there because I was craving a sausage and sauerkraut, good service. Visit was the first time we got to sit right on the water, the patio is nice.
So I came to this place when I was working an Event and I'm very disappointed! Especially after reading the reviews. The Service was not very friendly and they never offered me a food menu until I waited and asked 20 mins into it. I decided not to order for lack if time. I'm hoping it's an off night for them, but I'm just being honest about my experience. I will try again next time I'm in town. On a good note the Beer was cold!
Great location with a nice view. Food was very nothing special, just slightly better than fast food. Had the brisket sandwich. Not very generous with the meat, felt more like a grilled cheese sandwich with some meat. BBQ sauce was in a bowl on the side but tasted like a cheap grocery store or food distributor brand. Fries were not included???? For $15+ basic fries should be included (they were very basic) and they were a $3+ charge. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t terrible, but for me not worth the $$ or the calories.
if i have the time, I'll come back. definitely another visit next NASCAR season. the Seedless watermelon and dragon fruit beer was refreshing. enough hints of flavor and I'd put it on my summer list of beers.
the buffalo cauliflower was surprisingly tasty, crispy, and flavourful with and without the buffalo sauce (which was stage 1, so i can imagine what the hotter stages were like). Their chicken wings were very crispy and just as delish with and without the buffalo sauce too.
the nachos were filling, although wild have preferred a thinner and crispier tortilla chip.
TLDR; food was good the beer was great and the service was excellent. Morgan gave meaningful advice on the selection.
So, 5 Stars for everything but cleanliness. Needs a full commercial cleaning company service, refresh the bathrooms; new sink, toilets, refresh paint. The bar and outside are fine for a bar, but not a local pub. It's a difficult climate for restaurants right now. However, the staff were friendly and if delayed gave you notice. I love this place! A tiny bit of refresh would goa long way.☺️ Cheers!
