Me & my brother popped up and was able to get some slight work done. We get ink done everywhere we travel. Both artist did great! The shop is friendly and good vibes. Good prices for good work… and as someone who is almost completely covered, I know bad work lol. Will definitely go back if I’m ever back in Houston
Beautiful first experience. My husband and I decided to get matching ring tattoos for our anniversary. Neither of us had ever had a tattoo so we reached out to Tapout Tattoo with our questions. The owners Cliff & Mike were responsive and answered all our questions. Mike accommodated our tight schedules and allowed us to come in on an off day when the shop is normally closed. From the onset he was personable and welcoming. He told us about himself, his tattooing experience and his business, then proceeded to take our sketch and create a custom ink that not only executed our vision but exceeded our expectations.
Great tattoos but they will up charge if you wear specific things (purses, jewelry, etc.)

This has, by far, been one of the best tattoo shops I've ever been to. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and talented. I got my work done by Ari and every step of the process was outstanding. I hope I've found my forever tattoo home here. Also, high-key love supporting a black business as well. See y'all again soon!
My time spent in tapout didn't disappoint me. Rogg is a great artist and took his time with me even though I moved a lot lol. He reassured my comfort and over all his performance was great. He is definitely my life time artist.
When I went back to the piercing room, he didn’t even introduce himself. Use a round needle to pierce my smiley, didn’t count or say hello. Just told me to sit down. Didn’t look to see if he needed a different size of jewelry, (which ended up being too small). Just just stuck the needle in, he wasn’t telling what he was doing, so when I flinched in the middle he yelled at me not to move. When he was done he just walked out and sat down. Didn’t say a single thing. I could have ignored all of that but When I got home and really got a chance to look at it, he had pierced it crooked. All of that for a crooked piercing that I immediately took out.
I went and cammy j did my work. She was amazing and her work even speaks louder. She will be my forever artist from this point forward. Super delicate, professional, beautiful, talented, trustworthy, artistic and amazing did I say talented artist?! I will be going back for a full leg sleeve and more items after I have my baby. Thank you cammy so much!!!
