Best WLM Reviews
I had heard from others about the recent renovations to this place and our family was looking for a nice spot to meet up with my sister-in-law who was in town, so we gave Taphouse 23 a try.
The atmosphere was great! Plenty of big screen TVs, including a giant one about ten feet that we were seated near. The four-season patio, which was left open tonight, brings in the fresh air, opens up the room a lot, and keeps it from being too noisy! It felt like a great place to hang out at and have drinks and pub grub if we lived closer!
Our server checked on us regularly and our food and dessert ordered were delivered promptly by the food runners. My wife and I enjoyed the white veggie pizza and French onion sandwich. Each sandwich or burger that came with fries served on the side with Parmesan cheese, which is a nice touch. The creme brulee and blueberry crumble desserts were a sweet way to end the meal.
There was plenty of street parking and an adjacent parking lot right across the street. I would definitely come back here with just the two of us on a work night for happy hour. Thanks for making a Saturday night out with the family enjoyable!
I visited this restaurant the day of the Super Bowl. I love the atmosphere and it is aesthetically pleasing. The bar is super cute and the fire pit tables are very cool! I loved how the gigantic movie screen they had the game on. This place has a lot of great potential it’s just missing two things good food and good service. I wasn’t drinking any alcohol that night and just had water but I was always thirsty because my server was lacking in filling my cup. She would see my empty glasses at the corner of the table and still not refil even after I asked she forgot. I started with a buffalo chicken dip that bland and sloppy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were good but super basic although it was the best plate I had. I then ordered a pizza that tasted like a Lunchables pizza. The boneless buffalo chicken bites were nauseating and embarrassing, pictured attached. As a local I’d love for this place to hire a head chef that can turn the kitchen around.
really good food ,great drinks, good service. bartender was amazing... think his name was Evan.. the atmosphere is really cool. the enclosed patio is very cool with fire tables etc.... the best part had to be the cookie ice cream skillet... which was SO GOOD!
We had lunch inside. They also have a bar inside. I had a chicken cheesesteak and fries which was very good. We asked our server what he suggests. He was very helpful with beer selection and when I was between two menu options. We really liked the decor and ambiance as well as the high top tables. They have TVs so we could watch the game. Overall a good lunch option with plenty of parking across the street.
Taphouse 23 in Bridgeport, PA is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances modern chic with a cozy, laid-back vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.
The menu is a delightful blend of classic pub fare and innovative dishes. The variety of craft beers on tap is impressive, featuring both local brews and unique selections from afar. Each dish we tried was cooked to perfection, with the burgers and wings standing out as particular highlights.
The outdoor seating area is a fantastic addition, providing a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drink in the fresh air. The attention to detail in both the food and the decor truly sets Taphouse 23 apart from other local spots.
Whether you're looking for a casual night out with friends, a family dinner, or a place to catch the game, Taphouse 23 is the place to be. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is a new definition of WEIRD. Really nice landscape and area. The outside patio was very nice. The inside was also nice and clean. It was recently renovated I can personally tell. Food was mediocre, and the staff was….how do I put it. VERY WEIRD STAFF.
When we arrived we went over to the patio and asked to be seated. And the man was like “Oh we have no seats outside but you want to be seated inside?” And I said “sure why not.” He just left the stand and didn’t say anything. I was confused and wondered where the heck this man went. I stood there for a good 5 minutes until I had to go ask a person waiting tables to hopefully seat us. He sat us and I never saw the other dude during my time there. So we sat and we’re waiting another probably 10-15 minutes in a barley full bar. (People came later which is when I took the pictures, at the end of our meal) Finally a man comes to us, drunk or something. He was all over the place saying funny weird stuff and his eyes were everywhere. Ordering he kept the same act up until the end where he just disappeared. We had to go to the bar to pay. Leaving we were just very confused and dissatisfied with the food as well. Eating COLD appetizers and drinking WARN water.
If you want a drink or a meet up, that’s the place to go. I wouldn’t advise this place to my friends. I don’t know if it was just that day of that goes on on a daily basis.
Food, service and drinks are awesome. I don’t eat meat so ordering is always complicating for me I end up putting different things together from the menu. Well they had a buffalo chicken pizza that I had to have but I was allowed to sub
chicken for shrimp and it was delicious! Highly recommended!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed a special birthday celebration today at Taphouse 23!!! Shawn, the owner, was so nice & helpful. Food & drinks were delicious and the waiters were excellent!!! Also we loved the neighborhood laid-back atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!!
