Nice spot with a different take. Love the variety of meat they offer. The guys working the front were super cool and walked me through everything with a good attitude. I've had the California burrito with habanero chicken instead of steak, and man, was it delicious. Also had the rice bowl, and they loaded it down. The food looks and tasted fresh. I 100% recommend trying this place out.
So good! Very friendly helpful staff. Burritos are huge and they have a large selection of toppings and meats. All preparations are fresh made daily. Also open for breakfast till 11am daily.
We walked in and were immediately greeted very nicely. They asked if we had been there before which was no and they explained everything to us as well as gave us all the samples we needed. This is some of the best Mexican food we have ever had. If you haven’t been here you need to go!
Totally lived the experience! Everyone was so kind, it was so lovely, and everyone was experienced in the food! Got a huge burrito- definitely comparable to what you would find in California! Been looking for something to remind us of our home in Cali- definitely happy to find this place
Delicious food. Multiple options with an emphasis on "stew" fillings - pork and chicken slow cooked in sauces. All ever good - I especially like the Pork with Cactus which is not something you get everywhere!
Best Mexican food I’ve ever had, I work next door at the specks place. Even though I’m basic rice and cheese girl. This knocked it out of the park! (It was so good I ate half of it then I remembered I had to take a picture!)
To say I love this place is an understatement. I am a transplant from West Texas here in Indy and I love me some Mexican food. Tapatio has a great assortment of different foods. My favorite is the Habanero Chicken rice bowl. The breakfast burritos are delicious as well. I always get the #4. Please don’t let Tapatio go away. Everyone needs to try them out.
My wife and I come here fairly regularly at this point. It is by far and away the BEST Mexican food I've had around Indianapolis for some time. Morita Pork and Habanero Chicken are amazing. Also, grab a breakfast burrito (chorizo) on your way to work sometime, they are the truth.
