I made the mistake of using an at home glaze/toner that turned my red hair hot pink. Tantra got me in right away and completely fixed my hair. Mary not only brought my hair back to what it was but made it even better!
Tantra is a great place for all your hair needs! The stylists are friendly, the salon is clean and has wonderful ambiance. I get my hair cut regularly - the best spot in KOP.
Went for a haircut a few days ago. Got cut by Kylie. Very sweet, helped significantly with shaping waves/curls. Gave me a ton of information on products.

I brought my boyfriend in today, he has long hair as well, asked to get round layers on him (go with head shame so hair is gradually getting longer). She gave him a one length (where all hair gets cut at same level). And didn’t even thin out the bottom. So when we get home I’m going to finish the cut and blow dry. She didn’t fully finish blowing it out and pushed him leaving with his hair wet and in a (very awful) braid that didn’t even last till we got in the car before it fell out.
She claimed she didn’t know what round layers were despite having done hair for 57 years. She said his hair would be “too short” to put up. My boyfriend and I have the same haircut same length. I got round layers with one stylist there. He should have been able to with another.
This wouldn’t even get three stars if my stylist wasn’t an absolute angel to work with.
Very unprofessional salon. Called to tell them their employee was stalking and harassing their ex because I don't think anyone would like their employees conducting themselves like that. Michelle then gave my name and number to said harasser so her and her friends could harass me now as well. Please go somewhere else where they don't encourage their employees to act like high school children and bullies.
I brought my daughter here for the first time, reviews were great so we gave it a try. I had Kaylin, not sure of the spell of her name. She was very kind and sweet young lady, however, messed up the hair cut big times. It wasn't just a miscommunication, both sides of my daughter’s face were totally uneven, layers were not gradually increasing in the contours of her face but chopped like a staircase. The blow dry was also horrible, my daughter’s hair was all puffy and freeze. She kept trying to use the iron curl and hair spray to get ride of puffiness. Then the updo was middle level, I had to help her style it. She took 2 1/2 hour to cut layers in the face and updo. However, she was so aware of her poor job that she tried her best to the end to fix it, and gave us a 50% discount. The other hairdressers instead of trying to help her, were mad at her for being late with the next client. It is a place I would not recommend nor will be back at all.
Absolutely love my cut and color every time I come here! I have never colored my hair before but now won’t go anywhere else. Michelle and her team are personable, talented, and have great attention to detail. Also love the warm ambiance and great decor!
Michelle was fabulous! She listened to my concerns and gave me several options. I have very dark hair but have /want heavy blond highlights. She did an amazing job with out compromising my ends. I highly recommend!!
Staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Michelle did an amazing job on my hair. Pricing is very reasonable. I was lucky enough to get in on short notice as well. Highly recommend!
