Beautiful drive to the bridge and enjoyed everything about the bridge. Inside it is just as amazing as the outside.

The bridge maker did a great job of placing this covered bridge in such a beautiful spot. This would be a great place for a picknic or a gathering.
This bridge spans the Gunstock Brook just north of the village proper in Gilford. The bridge was constructed by Tim Andrews and presented to the community of Gilford by the Gilford Rotary Club in 1995. It was built to link the town hall with the rest of the town center. It is named for the tannery that once stood in the area.

Sitting at the back side of the local fire station, the Tannery Hill Covered Bridge is a very picturesque place to visit and bring the family to explore the beauty around the area, especially during the period of time the colors of Fall are at their peak.
Easily accessible, but not easily seen from the main highway, one may use the parking lot of the local town hall while visiting the place.
With a short span over the Gunstock Brook, this nicely kept bridge offers a nice subject for photography, a bit of a hike around the area and a pleasant and quiet location for relaxation.

I adore covered bridges so I make it a point to visit one if I hear there's one in the area. This cute little bridge is worth the ride. It's a foot bridge built in 1995, I don't know the history so I don't know if it was rebuilt in '95. It is number 68 on the covered bridge registry.
