Food is okay, we had buffet. I like the mango juice. Parking is the back of the restaurant. It's kind of pain cox it's one way n map doesn't show clearly.
I had the Lamb Tikka Masala with basmati rice and Onion Naan. I was surprised by how good it was and the lamb was very tender! The food was excellent!!!
We found the restaurant very clean. The service was great. The staff very friendly. However, we ordered the classic American chicken wings with an Indian flare as an appetizer. We were very disappointed. With the menu saying the chicken wings had an “ Indian flare , we assumed they would be glazed or rolled in Indian spices. Not so, the chicken wings were scrawny, and there was no flare. They were not seasoned at all. At $11.99 it was one of the more expensive appetizers. Not worth the money .
Pathetic experience in this restaurant. Waste of money too. And I am not writing this for any kind of complimentary food items or so.
The buffet has nothing to offer and taste sucks. The service is not at all good.
Trust me on this there are many more restaurants in the New Haven for dining which serve the bare minimum taste of India.
Tandoor restaurant’s chicken kebab is terrible and can’t be eaten by normal humans.
Never ever I am going to this place and would suggest you all too avoid going.
I am a person who would never ever put such bad reviews for any food. This is the first time ever I am doing so, to save others from wasting their hard earned money.
Very cool atmosphere and really great people. Food was quick to come out, good portions. When I asked for a box for my curry our server brought me extra rice to bring home, too. After we paid the check, our group lost track of time and ended up sitting at our table for a while-- when our server came by, we got up to leave, but he told us we were welcome to stay a while and he even brought us more water. Was just a really nice experience overall and will definitely be returning!! Definitely dine in if you get the chance :)
Hands down the best Indian food most of us had! Immaculate, friendly, charming. Family owned. Service was wonderful. Great experience!
Ordered chicken Biriyani no flavor nothing rice mixed with some gravy, no salt. Chicken pieces are old and raw spices in some pieces. Not all tasty. Over priced quantity is very low for butter chicken. Butter nan some are burnt and some are not cooked well.
If I could give this place more stars I would. This restaurant has amazing customer service. Everyone was super friendly and greeted my family as soon as we entered the building. They constantly checked up to make sure we were at full potential satisfaction. The food….AMAZING if I could eat here everyday I would. Although every single item I have tried has been to die for my go to is: mango lassi, samosa balls, tika kabab masala, and finally the homemade naan<3 10/10 recommendation for authentic Indian comfort food.
