This restaurant not only need to be deep cleaned but also the air conditioning only works in half of the dining area. In addition to that, they had paper plates and bowls. Oh and the ice cream was the small portions you grab for a toddlers birthday party. We are foodies and love to eat out when we have a chance but we will NOT be back.
The experience was very nice Lucy our waitress was very sweet and very talkative witch is very delightful in a restaurant. Tampa Buffet is a ???? oriented restaurant the food is very tasteful they only have Pepsi products sweet teas unsweet teas wines and beers a different kind I didn't try the spirits though I don't drink. The food was very good like most buffets you have your selections the desert what is a delight to have at the end nice atmosphere would go again not bad pricing either for two people to have a nice dinner without spirits under fifty bucks not bad at all for a nice dinner have to go check it out it's one of the better buffets I've been to yet
I have never left a poor review but am doing so with the aim of encouraging a pivot for the longevity of the restaurant. The place was mostly dead & I understand that it doesn’t make sense to have fresh food when you only have 3-5 tables. I planned on finding the freshest dishes and loading up on rice at least. To my disappointment, the cheapest thing, rice, was almost empty and hard. I tried to eat but the 4 different versions of chicken I tried were all tough from exposure to heat and with no rice to fill with I pushed my plate aside, paid and left. I work hard and will eat elsewhere. Do better.
Food was tasty and fresh. Very nice variety including sushi and desserts. I visited during the lunch buffet special between 11 - 3pm. Really can't beat that price during lunch. Attentive waitresses and good service too.
Food safety needs to visit this place immediately! I personally went in with my family and rushed out, the moment I reached to grab a sushi and saw a roach on the metal tweezer. This place needs a food and safety review soon. Place was empty, food looked dry (as if left sit for a while) avocado on sushi was brownish… but that roach was the end of it!
Nice little buffet right in Britton plaza.
The things I'm happiest about are the calamari and crawfish. Both were fresh and small batch. Calamari was tender and the coating was crispy, crawfish were plump and fresh.
Mussels and crawfish were both washed properly with no dirt or shell fragments.
Bathroom was clean and stocked. Staff constantly tidying up the line and putting fresh food out.
There was a lady eating off her plate standing at the buffet line but I won't count them off for that.
Overall not a bad little spot. My check was $19.
Perfect restaurant for people without smell or taste! Horrible dining experience. Food was bland and tasteless and the entire restaurant smells disgusting. Our waitress was grossly incompetent and spilled water on us, our food and table TWICE and refused to clean it up. Look at the picture attached, is this really worth $10 per person??? The food smells rancid and the selection is minimal. The sushi is of unknown date of origin and tastes abnormal. Management is incompetent and is hiring chefs and waitresses who don’t speak English and have no experience. Would rather not eat than go here again. The waitress with the red hair needs to be fired immediately and management needs to hire better chefs. Don’t waste your money here!
If I can give 0 stars I would…Empty, they’re not aware of customers. Food is sitting out all day, stale food & terrible service. Do not bother to come and waste your money. For 4 people it was $90.. you’re better off going to a Thai restaurant and getting food there for that price. Don’t waste your time money and stomach on fake ahhh food
