Dined here a few days ago, I’ve been hearing about Tamboo for years but never went and I’ve been missing out. The staff is very friendly! Seafood creole 5/5. it’s so hard to find good pikliz but Tamboo nailed it 5/5. Will be back very soon
The food was good but the wait was long. Over an hour for 5 people. It was mother's day so I'll give them a small pass on that. And it was my sister's birthday; there was no bday treat from the restaurant when we mentioned that. That's a first for us and That was disappointing. The waiter was slightly confusing. Many of us wanted macaroni for our side and he said there was none so we chose another option. When we were served our plates most of us ended up with the macaroni. It was a nice surprise but I would of preferred pleasant communication from the waiter sharing that we could get what we originally requested. I loved the sauce with my shrimp and conch meat. I would have liked to have more shrimp than conch. The brown rice tasted better that the djon djon. I would choose that next time! The tip is already set by the restaurant. I don't agree with. The more pleasant the waiter the more generous the tip will be and vice versa. American music was playing instead of Haitian music. That puzzled me as well.
Vania is a beautiful spirited young lady and definitely made the experience memorable despite some of the items being unavailable during the holiday season which is understandable. The food was fresh scrumptious and wonderful service
We had the best dinner date night here tonight. The ocean front view was stunning. The service was top notch with kind servers and the food was phenomenal! You could tell how fresh and homemade the dishes were. We will definitely be back!
I've loved Tamboo since they opened. The food is perfectly cooked and very tasty. The service is always warm and friendly. The atmosphere during normal times is laid back and relaxing with a beautiful and comfortable interior. During events it gets packed and is very lively but the bartenders really hustle and keep it all moving. A great place to go and be in downtown Brockton!!
Too much oil on Legumes. The other food was good.
Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Street parking can be hard to find. Food was good.
The best service ever! The bartender was fast and the food was amazing! I ordered the coconut shrimp and salad. I must also add the music was perfect for setting not too much of anything. The Dj kept us all on our feet! If you’re looking for a culturally eclectic vibe with great food and service, this is the place.
