We used to order menudo and they used to serve us a full bowl ???? for $14.99 now the serving portion is half of the bowl apparently because they are serving too much. Not dining there any more. La Gloria supermarket sell you the gallon for $22.99 I think I will be getting menudo from them.
This place has authentic handmade tortillas and Mexican cafe de olla!! Chips and salsa are also great. We tried the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles with eggs from the breakfast menu, and also ordered one quesadilla and one tamal with mole. Everything was exquisite, although chilaquiles were way too spicy. Portions are very large, for instance, the quesadilla is maybe the size of two tortillas.
The service was very slow. However, the waitress, Sully, had a positive attitude and was very friendly, even though the place was crowded.
In general, the place/atmosphere is nothing fancy but the food is worth trying. We would be back some time!
This place has some good authentic tamales and other Mexican dishes. Establishment is very clean and service is great. I tried the Pozolé and tacos.
Food is AMAZING here! I had the tamales and I tried their steak taco. Their tortillas are handmade! ????

I probably ordered more than I should have, but I'm glad I did. These tamales hit the spot! The masa was perfect, not too dry and not too moist. Price point is average for what you get. I ordered the following tamales; puerco en salsa roja and another in salsa verde and one of each in chicken. I also ordered the rajas con queso. All were great in flavor and would recommend this place.
I went for breakfast because they have decent cafe de olla but their service is dismal. Three tables arrived at the same time and I was ignored for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, all other tables were already eating. I finally called the waitress’s attention and asked why I hadn’t been given so much as a menu to order and she instead of apologizing and offering service she said it was because she’s not usually a waitress but a cashier. Horrible service and not worth wasting your time or money going there.
Yum! Steak and Pork taco filling was very generous and delicious. Pork tamale (verde/spicy) was also fantastic. Pineapple tamale wasn’t very sweet but was tasty. Hot sauces and salsa were amazing. Very clean dine-in area with friendly efficient service.
