Top notch spot. The raw fish was so tasty and fresh. It literally melted in your mouth. My go to Sushi ???? spot when I'm in town. The service is great too!
I ordered it a few times,The beef was good but only had five slices for lunch,That's why I order big size now,Because $20 a serving is not enough to eat,So this time I said no salad and oranges and add some rice,I'm actually getting the same amount of rice as before and you're just putting the same amount in two boxes,I usually have a small appetite but your portions are so small that even I can't get enough。
Takano Japanese Restaurant is a hidden gem in Snellville, offering an unexpectedly delightful dining experience. From the moment you step in, the staff welcomes you into a pleasant atmosphere that is cozy and inviting. The sushi is delicious, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation. Service is attentive yet unobtrusive.. Despite its unassuming exterior, Takano Sushi Restaurant proves to be a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.
Definitely authentic Japanese Sushi. Our nigiris were excellent, really fresh fish & great sushi rolls. We also tried the ramen and the broth was very rich. I will definitely be back. Loved how our server was very attentive and always made sure we were well taken care of. Forgot to ask her name but she was the older Japanese lady with glasses !!
I've been here a few times. The baby girl and I pulled up again today. The service is great. The food is really good. Nice cozy setting, not too fancy, just right. The staff is A1. They have Georgia themed sushi rolls ???? Whats not to like about that ????.
Definitely go check them out of your in the area.
Gyozia pan fried was so good that I ordered a second round! Veggie gyozia was good as well! This place has the best sushi around Atlanta I've had. The salmon was sweet and fresh, my favorite salmon roe was creamy with good flavor and nice color! Freshwater eel and sea eel were very good! Beef and salmon were very good combinations. Tempura and beef teriyaki were very good! Shoyu ramen was ok. Green tea ice cream was smooth and creamy! Green tea was nice! I definitely recommend this place!
Other reviews have stated that there has been a noticeable drop in quality in the transition from Sushi Avenue to Takano, but I personally don't think so. I went to Sushi Avenue a few times within the past few years, and then I went to Takano today, and I think Takano is just as good as Sushi Avenue was. In fact, Takano offers things that Sushi Avenue didn't, like ramen and chilled soba, so in some ways, Takano is actually better than Sushi Avenue.
In any case, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.
Great! Been going here before the name change. Lunch menu is very filling for a great price. Specialty sushi rolls are very good as well. Speed of service was fast as usual with the kindest people. Food was hot and ready in a flash. Overall A+
