Food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we ordered was well made, good portions, and wonderful flavor. Our kids even enjoyed the leftovers!
Absolutely delicious and authentic Indian food. One of the best Indian food in the region. Super fresh naan and customizable spice levels in all the dishes. All the flavors were spot on. Great and quick service. Perfectly cooked and flavored rice that came with the entree. Friendly staff. Homemade pistachio ice cream desert is highly recommended.
Still after all these years they never disappoint us. They’re still our favorite place for Indian Cuisine anywhere. Love these cooks and the management aling with the young male staff whom are pretty friendly and cool. I’m not great with names but we were there for 3 hours and it was nice because I met some new people. I talked their ear off but I blame it on your good food! They asked questions and we knew the answers and the rest is up hill so…
I mean it says Indian restaurant… but it’s not Indian… it’s like an Indian Mexican fusion… they almost had me tricked… definitely wash down for Indian food… so many other better real Indian food in Yakima..
Taj Palace is the best Indian food my family has ever had. We all were not fans and told people we don't like Indian food. Well... Taj has made liars out of us. The butter chicken is delicious, along with veggie pakora, curry chicken, samosas, puddings, salads, Naan, coconut veggies, spicy cauliflower you name it and Taj doesn't ever disappoint. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with tasteful decor that immerses you into a far away land of tasty nums. The staff is all great kind and courteous and attentive. My daughter loved going just to see the younger guy who's name we still don't know but he's always nice and funny. Prices are fair with good sized portions or just go in for the buffet and taste many items for $14. On your way out don't forget to taste the spice candy unless you don't like licorice and don't lick the spoon!!!
Worst food ever! We ordered both chicken and goat biriyani and I don’t know how on God’s earth they managed to spoil the food in such a way! There was a bad chemical smell in the food I don’t know what that was from. Even a first-time cook can a make it in a better way! Total waste of time and money! I guess starving was a better option than trying these biriyani.
This was my first time voluntarily going out for Indian food and, I must say, it blew me away.
Had clay oven fired chicken and a salad and could only make it two thirds of the way through. First bite of the chicken blew out my nose like a firecracker and set the tone for the rest of the meal.
The restaurant was clean, the staff was helpful, the food was great. Would come again.
