First time trying this place and it wasn't horrible but I've definitely had better. Wanted to dine in but they made us dine in with to-go boxes and then gave plates after already finishing our meal. I think it's how they do dine in meals. The service was lackluster but maybe they were having a bad day. The butter naan we had was really good and so was Buttered Chicken(the red one). The Chicken Kormi (the yellow one) was a bit too creamy for me. The Shrimp Tandoori wasn't what I thought it'd be it was underwhelming in my opinion. Will probably come back and try something else to see if the food is better a different day.
I love this place. Growing up in la I learned what good food was. I’ve checked out all the Indian places in the area and by far this is the best. The food is delicious. The thali special is a total bang for your buck aswell. Give this place a try and you won’t regret it.
I recently had my graduation, and though the ceremony was supposed to end around 9 PM (the restaurant's closing time), my dad called them, and they graciously made an exception to stay open a bit later for us. On top of that, the food and service were amazing—the food especially was arguably the best I've had in North State. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, 10/10.

New place is amazing with amazing food !! My favourite chicken briyani..
This is a beautiful place with authentic food and a traditional interior. Have been to this place every alternate day for the last four months, and the food and services never disappointed me. The curry exactly tastes like my mum's curries. My favourite all the time is BIRYANI, I just loved it. Additionally, I am a big fan of kababs and tandoori chicken. The chef Sunny bro always made them extra spicy on my request. And Mr Lal another chef always made special appetizers such as golgape, aloo tiki, charts with that Indian flavours which is unbeatable.
This is highly recommend place for everyone especially for students who are looking for good quantity and quality of food. And request for making food mild or extra spicy!.
Good place to try out some north indian dishes with good taste and friendly service.
# Food is good you have many options to select from.
# Chicken biryani was good but they gave too many chicken pieces and rice was so less. I hope they give more rice.
# Veg Thali is really good, all the curry and Garlic Nan is amazing.
# Samosa is good but size small and the tamarind chutney is amazing.
# Prices are bit high
# Good service.
# Staff is very friendly and helpful.
# It was feeling a bit hot in the restraunt they should on the A.C
# Toilets are clean????
The service here is always amazing! They are always able to modify things if I want it differently and they are just the most friendly people ever.
Very welcoming and authentic environment. The food is great, and a good price for the quantity you get. Lots of options as well, and they make an effort to keep it all fresh. The people working consistently care about your food and experience. We love to stop by whenever passing through Chico .
This was a take out order.
Ordered Fish Pakora, Butter Chicken w/rice, and lamb achari.
Fish pakora has very tasty flavor. Wasnt crunchy but if you dine in, it would be. So no points off there.
Butter chicken with rice is good. Ive had better butter chicken but not bad.
Lamb Achari. I love trying new things and wanted to try. Well I've ordered lamb karahi, lamb vindaloo before, and honestly between these 3 dishes I cant tell the differece much. Was little disappointed. Maybe its just this place?
Overall though, great food and good option for Indian food in Chico.
