Excellent food, large menu and friendly service
I just wanted to put more detail into this review after having a bad experience at another local Indian restaurant for take out.
Taj Grill has really friendly servers. I remember going with a group of friends who were not familiar with Indian cuisine, and they asked a lotttt of questions lol about many of the dishes, but the server was really patient. He was on the younger side.
I like that there are different spice levels for the food. I honestly would get it a little spicier next time because I like it hot !
I would certainly dine in at Taj Grill again because of their portion sizes and their customer service.
Great location, delicious food, and outstanding service. We had the buffet for lunch, which was a pretty good choice. A little of each thing gives an opportunity to try everything you’d be interested in on the menu.
I don’t like to put bad reviews but had to coz what they did wasn’t right. 4 of us went there on Valentine Day we ordered 6 items and those 5 dishes that ordered wasn’t good at all. Wasn’t worth going there and spending money on those foods. But the most important thing was that our total supposed to be less then 95 dollars but they charged us 18% without telling us. They are not supposed to charge 18% unless there’s 5 people or more. So whoever go there make sure to check your receipt before paying.
We were visiting Niagara Falls and decided to find a vegetarian-friendly Indian restaurant. After looking at a bunch of reviews, we settled on Taj Grill.
We ordered Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Dal Makhani, Dum Aloo, Chhole Bhature, and Poppadom (both regular and Masala).
The Saag Paneer was excellent (the paneer was soft and the gravy tasted great). Getting authentic Dal Makhani in the US that we enjoy has been very difficult but their preparation was very good.
The Malai Kofta, Dum Aloo, and Chhole Bhature were all good, even though the recipe for the Dum Aloo tasted different than what we expected.
Overall, we were happy with the dining experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving quality Indian food.
Took our daughter here because she said the food was very good.
The paneer appetizer we ordered was very good.
However the Tandoori grill item I splurged for was not.
The chicken was dry as were the other meats (except the shrimp which was fine). I suspect that the meat had already been cooked in the oven before - perhaps the night before.
I've had meat from the Tandoori oven before and it was tender and tasty.
I seriously doubt I will ever return.
One of the best restaurants in buffalo for Indian food. We ordered plenty of dishes and everything was delicious ????.
The service was commendable. They allowed us to dine after the closing time so we are grateful for that.
The mango lassi was outstanding
The chicken tikka masala and garlic naan combo was delicious
The chicken sizzler was mouthwatering
Gobi and samosa starter is a must try!
We loved all the dishes and will definitely visit again. Authentic Indian food ????
I just didn’t want to put bad review. But sad to say that the service and attitude of the person who sits in the front was awful. At first, he was too rude while taking orders. Forget about smiling and greetings. He has no sense of customer service. And then He handed us the bill before even asking if we are done! I mean seriously? And then when we said we are not done and want to order some dessert then he was showing such attitude as he dont wanna take order. That was so rude! And then when I asked him about that he started arguing and saying things that makes no sense. I felt terrible by that behavior because, I went there to dine in with my family. And when someone goes to a fine dine in they expect little better behavior and better service!
