Food very good the service is excellent
Since February 2023 we must eat there at least once a week! Delicious and clean and staff so happy and kind! MUST TRY MOLCAJETE MIXTO WITH RED SAUCE
Food here is always good. And no matter what you order it will taste good. Service is a hit and miss, depending on who your waitress is. The music and the atmosphere is great.
As I've said before, I make pretty good Mexican cuisine myself, so I usually pass on tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tamales, etc and go straight to the meal I find most difficult to prepare: Chile Rellenos. On my first visit here ever (hard to believe I've lived in Fresno for 34 years and never noticed this place before) it was no different. My friend and I both ordered Chiles Rellenos; his with red sauce, mine with green sauce.
We were NOT disappointed! The Chiles Rellenos were delish, made with a nice-sized, meaty, chile (pretty sure it was a poblano), well stuffed with cheese, nicely coated, and topped with green sauce and more cheese. This is the only place I've ever had white beans the way they served them - loved them. Overall, as you can see it was a hardy portion that besides the Chile Relleno and the beans had nice portion of Mexican rice and a small salad.
… And what you don’t see here: chips and salsa - and piping pot fresh tortillas.
A fantastic meal for $12.99!
Fast and friendly service.
I definitely plan on returning and taking my wife. Having passed the CR test I plan to try some of their seafood on my next visit.
I am in shock, usually this restaurant has good service and food. My recommendation is, if you’re going through eat here, only eat seafood dishes. Other dishes are no good. Tacos de cabeza you can tell were boiled instead of steamed- so much water came out of the tacos. Was given no salsa, had to ask and was given 1 salsa for 2 people. Don’t get caldo de res, it’s not good, doesn’t have much veggies, only had cabbage, 2 pieces of carrots, a piece of chayote, and cabbage. This isn’t a real caldo de res, when I asked the server about veggies- she cut me short. Also it doesn’t come with rice. Servers kept ignoring me when I needed something, not attentive to our table. Bathrooms were dirty and urine on seat. Gross, you can tell that they haven’t cleaned it in all day. I’m highly disappointed, restaurant is far to expensive for this to be happening- service here has gone down hill.
It was ok. Service started out ok and ended blah. The outside looks better than what you get inside. Don't let the big screen fool you. I got the camarones a la diabla. I specifically seek out restaurants that serve this. It's my favorite. And I live too far away from my favorite place to get camarones a la diabla. I was directed here by coworkers. The waitress started off by cautioning it was hot and tried to deter me. The spice was there but not crazy. The shrimps were tiny and the flavor was mediocre at best. The rice and the tortillas were terrible. But I checked another one off the list and I know where not to go.
The food was really great. Service was fast for refills. Free chips and salsa. The tortilla's was fresh. The place was very clean.
My husband enjoyed the carne asada tacos, the salsa was good but if you can't handle spicy ???? easy on the red sauce but it was delicious! I had the asada burrito, it was large for 9.99 overall taste was good. Went thru the drive thru. Wait time was several minutes but nothing like 20 minutes.
