Best WLM Reviews
Tacos y Cemitas is a food truck. This one is in East LA near a Uhaul. It is always at the same place so you will see the big red truck. There is a little seating outside, but for the most part you take your food back to your car or a park or home.
The service is really great. I don't read Spanish well and some of the words confuse me. They are so nice and they always help us. The area is kept really clean and it is just a fun atmosphere.
The food is great. They have all types of Mexican food, from tacos to burritos. They also have burgers that are super and I love their fish tacos.
This is just a fun spot to stop.
Took a big chance on this place even though ordering was a bit difficult overall I would come back and I'd recommend it to someone who's looking for a quick bite. It wouldn't be my go to but definitely good authentic feel to it. I ordered a picadita w cecina and it was very nicely portioned! And meat was cooked nicely as well..the green salsa was delicious. Burrito was a bit greasy
Just spent $15 on a torta & Dasani water bottle . I figure ok price is high must be GOOD food , the exact opposite. Not worth the price or time . Food wasn’t seasoned, I asked for lime they say there is some in bag , but was half a lime smh .
Can’t say enough great things about this spot. I’ve eaten here about 5 times... it’s the first place I had cemitas
Def suggest for your first time getting the milanesa torta, w block cheese, and chipotle (a little heat).
I literally went cemitas hunting throughout LA County in the past 5 years, ... the top reviewed spot in cemitas block, 2 spots in Van Nuys, a famous truck kinda near Cinco Puntos in East LA, and El Monchis is still my favorite. They got a sister truck on Cesar Chavez, but i love this one still on Atlantic. Fair warning, this sandwich is huge.
Food was delicious! Great customer service and very friendly staff. ???? I highly recommend ????
The older woman taking orders is incredibly rude, she’d rather be on her phone then take care of customers, had to repeat myself 3 times until she stopped ignoring me and answered my question. I was really excited to try the food but was only left with a bad taste in my mouth. Also they only except cash or Zelle.
My favorite cemita in the area. The only issue I have with them is their inability to honor my requests. Ive asked for un-toasted soft bread and I get toasted hard bread. Ive asked for extra cheese or chipotle and I get the usual amount. They just need to work on their customer service.
Food is great. But the business has outgrown a street lunch truck. Orders take up to 20 min and food is not cheap anymore. Expect to spend out of budget and wait a long time.
