Best WLM Reviews

The food was good. The staff it's really friendly. We had burrito plate, enchiladas plate, tamales. Also 2 kids meals. All of the food was good.
My daughter and I ate there yesterday. We both ordered a salad for lunch and we really liked it. She had the grilled fish and I had their grilled steak. We will be eating there again.
This is one of the best restaurants in north Louisiana! Now I don't eat tacos where I live - I drive to Ruston for them. Absolutely worth it!
The family is so kind and helpful had a very good experience the food was OFF THE CHARTS it was the best food I've had in my entire life and the best costumer service ever. And if you are having a bad day this family will brighten your day with a smile and by being kind and making you laugh. All together very good experience. Definitely recommend it????????????
Food is authentic and favorable. Must try for Mexican food in the area.
No frills, just amazing food! This place is run by a wonderful family and is both authentic and delicious! The al pastor is phenominal!
Amazing place y’all need to stop in this place. The pork tacos 10/10. They have plenty of options.
Ate here Sat, July 8, 2023. They are often at the Ruston Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, it smelled pretty good today, so decided to try them at their restaurant location. I guess, since it is "auténtico", I was expecting something like what I've had in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Bernalillo, and Las Vegas, New Mexico. Far from it. I had a newer menu item, the Chilaquiles. The young lady at the counter tried to explain it, but really couldn't, so it would be a surprise for me, but that is OK. I enjoy food adventures and new flavors. ???? Basically it was nacho or tortilla chips drenched with cheese sauce, then topped with steak tidbits, a little tiny amount of onion and some cilantro. It was very bland to me. ???? No flavor that is memorable. ???? I've never been to Mexico City, so maybe that's the way they like it there. It definitely was not hot with jalapeño, in fact none was in it, nor had New Mex or any other kind of hot pepper or bell pepper. Cheese sauce I think is homemade since I have not had any heartburn at all in the last hour after eating like I do with canned sauce from the grocery store. For me, I would have liked a lot more onion, like half an onion on mine, plus 3 or 4 sprigs or tablespoons of cilantro, plus a teaspoon of cumin in the beef. And maybe one or two hot peppers chopped up and thrown into the mix. Maybe they tone it down for local tastes, but that's not me since I did not grow up around here, plus I have traveled a lot out of state. For my tastes I still prefer Don Tomas on 6th Street or El Paso on 165 in Monroe or the new Taco food truck at Railroad Park here in Ruston. Also, I am on a low-salt diet and this was not salty, so that is a positive for me. ????
