Would give 0 stars if I could. I tried giving it a second chance but meats are so bland and Quessabirrias were soggy. 2 hrs later got sick from their food.
Wow. Tacos Santa Cruz is special.
This taco truck is awesome. The tacos are incredibly rich in flavor - the meats are masterfully done. I personally had 7 tacos - 4 carnitas (they are bomb), 1 pollo, 1 asada and 1 al pastor. They were all great. You really can’t go wrong, it feels like. They provide enough limes for spritzing, delicious caramelized onions, pickled jalapeños, fresh cilantro and a great fresh salsa on top. All amazing.
The truck is in a parking lot not far off I-5. There is a little aluminum shed that provides some shade and it’s not too far from the river.
The folks in the truck are kind! They had hand sanitizer and were wearing gloves as well.
I’m gonna have to get some photos next time I’m there BUT the quesadilla is out of this world. I have a question. Why do so many Mexican food trucks look at you crazy when you ask for Crema and they offer sour cream instead? Because I definitely want the Crema instead of sour cream, just like you. Well guess what- Tacos Santa Cruz doesn’t have it either! JUST KIDDING. They do. And it’s ridiculous on the quesadilla. It’s loaded and everything is fresh. There’s about a zillion Mexican good trucks in Red Bluff but THIS THE ONE. And they don’t take tips so ‘ode to joy’ there.
I love this taco truck!! The ladies have the best customer service available in Red Bluff! It's very comfortable and clean environment. Now offering catering for all events!! Thank you Santa Cruz Tacos!
Mmmm yes please! Really tasty authentic Mexican food. I got a sope and my friend got a couple of (soft) tacos. Both were delicious. My sope was piled with beans, the meat I chose, lettuce and sprinkled with Cotija cheese. Also grilled onions and a jalapeno on the side. The people were super nice, and there's a covered area with a few tables. If you like taco trucks, this is a good one to try.
I always get the queza-Birria tacos with the consumé.. pro-tip is to ask for them extra crispy. Best I've found in the northstate.. if I wasn't worried about my waistline I'd eat them more than 1-2 times a week I do now. Make sure you have beer to wash them down, it's hard to beat.
Cute little spot to have a taco.. spicy ???? yet yummy.. next time we go I'm going to try without salsa and see if it's less spicy very good the meat was fabulous carne asada tacos for me and my love! ???? We were out ripping on our 1wheels and got hungry and thirsty ...
Not what your expecting AT ALL!!! I love taco trucks they usually have the best authentic Mexican, but this truck was trash... on the plus side, the prices are so low its worth trying it at least once. But I've personally never had a more horrible experience at a taco truck!!
