Friendly Reminder for Morning Orders
I wanted to share my experience to help fellow early risers make the right choice. Although I had hoped for crispy chilaquiles with a sunny side-up egg, my order unfortunately arrived differently. Despite explaining my preferences to the host, there was a mix-up with my order. However, I must commend the staff for their prompt response when I called to address the issue. While there was a slight hiccup, they were willing to make things right. Though my initial disappointment, I appreciate their willingness to listen and improve. I hope this serves as a gentle reminder for the restaurant to ensure attention to detail in every order.
Original Order: Chilaquiles without lettuce and with a sunny side-up egg.
If u know me, I give starts for providing a business and options to consumers. Honestly have not had bad Mexican foods. It is not that difficult to achieve. With all that said, foods was good. Homemade corn tortilla excellent. No self serve sauces n salsas etc due to covid 19.
I wish I hadn’t ate all of it before I took the pic but I’m a very picky chicken eater. I try to eat vegetarian as much as possible but when I do cheat and eat chicken I make sure it’s worth it! And tacos Mi Pueblo is worth it! Their seasoned chicken tastes like the chicken from El pollo norteño so it has that like that orange-e look to it and tastes great ????. I’ve been to the other location on Gonzales and —nada que ver! The quality and food is completely different. They don’t even have tortas ???? the only thing I would say isn’t the best was there red salsa, they changed it up and it tastes real good but I miss their old one. All in all their torta is loaded with queso fresco, tomato, lettuce, avocado????, onion and beans, best of all they toast the bread and their bolillo is on ???? I think they also include pickled carrots or jalapeños I’m not 100% sure. The accompanying seasoned fries are also very tasty! I’ve been coming here since they opened and it’s always been delicious! Thank you for the quality Mexican food ????
I invited a couple of friends to eat after shooting at shooters paradise, I could tell something was not right, the place was almost empty for a Sunday at 12:00. We ordered 3 plates, took 40 minutes to get our food and no silverware, finally after asking they arrived and 1 of the forks still had food in it my friend got up and asked to speak with the manager all he got in response was do you want a plastic one. Food was cold kitchen staff didn’t know what they were doing. There was maybe a total of 6 people waiting for their food finally 2 of the tables got up and walked after saying something to the staff. I was really excited to eat at this place since is been years since I ate here since we moved out of state, but unfortunately would not recommend this place to any body.
This is our third visit to Tacos Mi Pueblo. Patio seating is available!
My husband & I were truly in the mood to try their Mole. We inquired if it would be possible to add their Mole sauce within our burritos as a substitute for their salsa, as it wasn't a menu option. Happily, they agreed. It was very flavorful, not too sweet nor exceedingly spicy. Portions are indeed hearty, especially their plated menu items. They appear to offer a lot of budget friendly menu items & specials throughout the week too!
P.s.
IF you're a Pokèmon Go player, their restaurant is one of 3 Pokèmon stops within a short distanced walking range within the same parking lot. The 4th stop is a Pokèmon Gym. It's located across the street, behind the restaurant parking lot. This restaurant is an excellent location to level up while enjoying deliciously authentic food at excellent prices. <3
The chef came to my table to say exclusively thank for coming and to see if I had like my aguachiles.... live them also the burrito of trips excellent great food great prices the Corona beer was cold as a penguin butt lol awesome place
Not the best taco place I have been to. But the staff was great. Tacos were ok small for the price.
Had their 'wet' Burrido, fabulous! Could only eat 1/2 of it. Next day I ate another 1/4 for lunch., by heating it with a tbsp. of water with a salad that I made @ home. Than had the rest cold for a snack.
I am going back. It is really reasonable when you consider I had 2 full meals for my $11.00.
