My friend and I came to this place for lunch, and it was a great choice. We had the $3.99 tacos (barbacoa, Al pastor, and shrimp). They were very good! I will definitely be back for some more. The atmosphere is good it was just a little empty when we went, but the waitress was great and the drinks were amazing. I am looking forward to trying some more options. I would recommend the is place and it is not highly priced.
Stopped in on a Saturday night and it was a little busy but we were able to get a table right away. Really loved the atmosphere here. The drinks are out of this world and the food was delicious. I got the fried bacon wrapped cheese stuffed shrimp and my friend got the torta and potato empanadas. They have so many great dishes to choose from. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
Wow.. this place was great.. as soon as u walk in it looks beautiful and the place was clean.. I mean super clean.. we got seated right away and it was on... the server got us our drinks and they were amazing.. then the food came and the food was even better.. the experience was awesome and we had such a good time... I would highly recommend this place..
The food was okay. Was not overly impressed. The margarita was delicious!
This place is a great place overall. It is the only real authentic mexican street food up in the North area. Food was so mouth-watering. The Birria Ramen is definitely something to try as different as it was, it is such a clever combination! Prices aren't cheap, so expect to pay a minimum of $40. Well worth the price. Live band performing modern and old school hits from ACDC to Bruno Mars. It sure is a different vibe. Reccomend to everybody.
Amazing food! I took way 1 star because I am someome who likes to pay $XX.00 when I dine out, emphasis on the .00 so this is a warning to those who tip as I do on a card to check your statements.
So this place is not as great as The Denver Foodie made it seem! We spent almost $50 on 2 plates, a marg, and a beer.
Upon entering there was a trio of musicians singing music I never in my life thought I would hear in a Mexican restaurant! It was soooo loud and just absolutely awful.
Not a single person looked happy, other that the groupie table for this "band."
And it was freezing cold inside, like to the point where we had to go get our coats, and never took them off!
The staff never smiled and all looked like they hated their jobs! Maybe it was the awful music! We had to ask twice if someone was going to come take our order.
She ordered a peach marg because she thought it would come in the glass shown in the video on TDF, NOPE, it was much smaller!
And though it tasted great for a peach smoothie, it had little to no liquor in it!
On to the food! I got a combo plate, kid sized burrito, tamale tasted frozen, and a cheese enchilada.
The enchilada sauce was from a can at best, and the cheese inside wasn't melted. The plate barely had any green chile on the "smothered" plate. It was also tasteless.
She went with quesabirra tacos. Luke warm, cheese wasn't melted, and the consomé was fatty, like the fat was floating on the top. I guess no one taught them that they are supposed to skim that off.
We then watched the staff clean tables, returning to-go cups/lids and boxes that customers had touched, to a stack in the corner!????
Needless to say we won't be back and will highly not recommend in the future.
This is FAIL #2 from The Denver Foodie. NASTY!
Took my girls as this place is close to us and I'm glad I did. I ordered Trompo at pastor which was delicious and enough for at least 3 people to eat. You get a slice of juicy pineapple that slowly drips onto the meat and a little heater inside the little meat holder (I don't know what it was called). You also get roasted jalapeno's and onions and 2 sides of beans and some tortilla. My girls got the Taco's Quesabirria and a baked potato. I had too much food so I didn't try theirs but they both loved what they got. Will have to take my adult friends there so we can have drinks at night.
