Food was BOMB you can tell he’s back there cooking with love. There’s plenty of places to eat out here but do yourself a favor and eat here. It’s really good and has a sense of feeling at home. On top of that, you’re not loosing any limbs trying to eat out here. Full plate servings. Great service and bomb food? I’m in there lol thanks John!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a small local Mexican restaurant that truly exceeded all expectations. Despite its unassuming exterior, this hidden gem boasts an exceptional culinary experience that left me wanting more.
The birria at this restaurant is nothing short of extraordinary - it was truly out of this world. The rich flavors and tender meat made for a mouthwatering dish that I will not soon forget. If you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine, the birria here is an absolute must-try.
My daughter opted for the el pastor, and it was a decision we did not regret. In fact, it was one of the best el pastor dishes I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The perfect blend of spices and the succulent meat made each bite a delight.
While the restaurant may not be the most visually appealing from the front, do not let that deter you. The real magic happens in the kitchen, and the food speaks for itself. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere only add to the overall charm of the place.
This place was amazing to try! The birria was delicious and we loved the burrito! The service was also amazing! Our server was nice and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely recommend this place for anyone to get a quick bite and definitely the best birria I’ve had around the area!

Have you ever tried a new taco spot and as you wait for your food you’re imagining the taste leading up to the first bite only to be disappointed by the “kinda” flavor? It was almost the pastor or asada or buche you imagined, but not quite?
That didn’t happen here. Tacos were on point.
The prices and portions are good.
For anyone in the High Desert looking for great tacos and a pleasant dining experience, Tacos Los Salazares is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you'll be treated to some of the best tacos in town.
It's my first time at this location and definitely be coming back!! Food was great handmade tortillas which you hardly see nowadays so that's always a bonus. Not to mention, the food was great, no disappointment, whatsoever highly recommend if you're looking for Mexican food. Also, great service and was quick you can also call in an order for a faster service.. Also I was surprised at the price very affordable. I can't wait to try the other items .
Carne Asada was a little salty. Birria was good but not a lot of cheese in the quesabirrias. The salsas were really good. Consome (broth from birria) was nothing special, it did not have a lot of flavor.
