Tacos la Madrina never disappoints. Everything about them is immaculate. From the service to the food. I messaged them through Google to place an order and they got back to me not even a minute later. Withing 5 I had placed my order, paid and just had to pick it up. I am apart of their new system they have going on through Facebook/Facebook messenger and because joined they sent me a coupon for 3 quesabirria tacos. With or without a coupon though, they are so worth it!
Food: The consomé alone is packed with so much flavor. You can taste every single spice! So delicious.
The Quesabirria tacos were to die for. It’s generously filled with meat and cheese. The perfect amount of crispiness and then pairing both the tacos and the consomé is a match made in heaven, with the salsas too. Even the pickles onions were delish.
The carne asada fries were evenly spread. Literally everything was so good. I have never eaten food so fast before. My son, couldn’t have eaten his taco any faster! There’s a reason why they’re #1 in the HD, and if they’re not, they are in mine and my family’s book.
Not only are they a fantastic family owned restaurant/food truck who serve us great food but they also do great for the community.
Wow what a find in the High Desert!!! Visited the Hesperia location tonight for the first time. I must say, each employee was super nice, friendly, and professional. The food was way beyond our expectations and we will definitely be frequenting this location in weeks to come.
I absolutely recommend this place to everyone, Staff is awesome and the food is amazing so much flavor, i cant wait to go back with some friends and show them what they have been missing!
Had to add to my previous review. Tacos La Madrina continues to be my go to taco spot. Their al pastor is my all time favorite! Definitely recommend! Se les agradece el buen servicio!
Recommend 100%... My favorite Mexican go to spot for Carne Asada fries, quest birrira tacos, quesadilla, tacos, horchata lol all there food is BOMB! There's no Mexican restaurant up here in Hesperia that can compete with this taco truck. Hours very, mostly open evening time to the night.
I'm originally from L.A and so being chicano I've had eaten a lot of tacos/ burritos in my life. And so I read all the great reviews and decided to go try them. I had the queso Birria with consume. My kids had same, plus mulettas. My husband had a buche taco and a cabeza burrito.
Well the consume was super salty. I tasted more salt than flavor. My birria tacos weren't all that great for my liking. The mulettas were supposed to be with asada but it was mostly just cheese with a sprinkle of some meat. And finally my husband's burrito and taco. The taco's meat which was buche tasted burnt. And as for the burrito, truthfully it was the worst burrito we had ever tasted, it had some strange and overpowering herbal flavor. That had actually, caused my husband a headache, because it was that strong, and so he didn't finish his food, since it was that awful and that's not like him. The service is great but man, the food is nasty tasting.
Well, here for the first time, because I saw how many stars it had and the reviews looked really good when I went, there was no line the service was so good they made sure your order was completely correct, and they even gave you extras if you want more, I would love for a debit card or credit card to be taken as well but other than that everything was great. The food was amazing. I had the Kearny Asada fries and whatever she says they used is going to have me coming back.
I took my mother to your truck for Mexican mother's Day been wanting to take her since you guys open 5 years ago. Took her today and she decided to get one of each Taco that you guys had on your menu and a sope and she ate everything. She really enjoyed the food and she will be returning again this is my taco spot up here in the desert. thank you gisel and your family for awesome service and quality food.
